I have observed an alarming trend in Ghana these days for some religious leaders to make critical comments in the media, at times attacking the gov't of the day. I would have preferred that these men of God learn from Pope Francis the way to comment on issues of national concern without sounding partisan.
We all know the role some of these so-called men of God play in our society and when they show their faces in the public square and echo some of the partisan attacks of some in our society, they must be ready when others on the opposite side return fire.

You kept mum because the government was not in the cross hairs of his criticism.
So I question the timing and intent of your article because I believe it's an extension of the "YENTIE OBIAA" mantra of the NDC government which in essence, is your way of silencing any critic of the government.
He took the government to task on how things are not faring well in the country and all of a sudden, the voice that had kept mum throughout his criticism of the general populace is screaming to warn us of Otabil's deceptive tendencies.
