By every stretch of imagination this is illogical and nonsense.One would think that such candidate who has the support of both parties is what the country needs now.Some one who cuts across the political divide to implement Ghana's agenda but not a parochial one.

In fact, he commands good English and better still the ability to analyse scenarios. You have no problem with the lies that Alan and his people are spewing unreservedly but you do have a problem with someone telling it as it is. Besides, what Fadi meant to say that you refused to see was that being popular amongst the NDC is a sign that he is not an NPP loyalist. He is not one bit popular in NPP and only irrelevant people want him. The assumption is that given he wins the primaries which cannot even be in his dreams, he will court the NDC supporters for their votes and that would mean that we will have an NDC government in the cloak of NPP. Got it?

If Nana wants to be President, then we as Ghanaians and his future employer have the right to know more about his background. Why do you people not ask to produce a copy of his so-called Law certificate and also tell Ghanaians in which Law school he attended. Nana can keep silent for the time being but he will not be able to run away from this issue of being a FAKE lawyer. You just vote for him as your Presidential candidates and the questions will start rolling. Ghanaians are neither stupid nor insane to elect someone who cannot provide a copy of his professional certificate to be President. Most of you are just dreamers because Nana will never be President of Ghana. A crook and a criminal can never be our leader. The quality of Kuffour in 1996 1nd 2000 can never be achieved by any personaliy in NPP now or in the near future. These are the reasons:
1. kuffour was prepared in 1996 if it was the wish of majority of the Grand Alliance to step down for Arkaah to lead the alliance.
In 2000, Kuffour was so much of a gentleman in Ghana's political scene than all those before him. Earlier in 1996, he accepted the results of the elections when he could have gone to the SC on the same grounds as those in 2012.
3. Kuffour was popular across the whole country and across political lines. That is why even the Nkrumaist parties and neutrals all voted for him and abandoned NDC in the run-off.
4. Kuffour was conciliatory, accommodating,and very likeable in 2000 that despite the huge presence of JJ Rawlings, he was able to come across Ghanaians as an alternative to the abraisive Rawlings NDC. Kuffour was the direct opposite of Rawlings, even some NDC members secretly admired him. In 2000, Kuffour was the embodiment of all that majority of Ghanaians were willing to accept after the long years of Rawlings, even if for a change only.
The NPP should not think they can in anyway streamroll or impose anybody on Ghanaians. When it comes to presidential elections in Ghana, the character of the candidate counts a lot, not just the party or the objective conditions in the country at the time. Yes, the Gentle Giants era has come and gone.
