The whole idea of christianity anywhere in Africa is hogwash. I don't know who you are but you are doing the same thing that has been done to us since colonization. Remember you brought this religion to our shores and people have embrace it without ever knowing the real history behind it.
Christ is not indigenous. It's foreign, and has robbed us of own ideas about God and religion in general. We would not have known about the concept of Christ if the "white man" has not brought it to our shores.
So whether or not they practice the 'brand" you've just written about in your article doesn't matter. It must be said that we'll continue to struggle as a nation and behave foolishly in our daily lives until we find something closer to home to believe in. I'm fed up with this Christianity bullshit. So, save your ministry and your evangelism and go back to where you came from.
Africans must save themselves from people like you.

Your time could've been better spent posing solutions to Ghana's problems, rather than this long religious diatribe that doesn't serve any meaningful purpose.
Religion, is the deification of a people's culture, it cannot be imported nor exported,
today's Christian bibles are racist documents designed to dehumanize Africans, there are 1.4 billion Chinese in China and not one Chinese person is mentioned in the racist bibles, no Indians, even though the geography of the biblical stories is Africa, Africans were banned from the scriptures by racist Rome.
Mr. Coleman, please tell me who are Peter, Matthew, Isaiah, Jeremiah, John, Samuel, Pharisees etc. Are they Africans? And if they are not, why do Africans have to heed the teaching of foreigners, whose principles may contradict the principles of our Arfican Ancestors?
Africa's biggest problem stems from the colonial imposition of religious and economic systems, that were designed to delete the consciousness of Africans and systematically impoverish the African Continent.
Foreign religion and Capitalism are parasitical viruses that are more devastating than Ebola can ever be.

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to every people. I think Coleman has spiritually diagnosed Ghana's problems and offered the solutions. Many people simply think that it takes man's own effort to solve problems. That is completely wrong. Without Jesus Christ, it is just impossible. The Bible remains and will forever be God' manual for man. We are created beings and therefore, our existence is depended on God. God can choose to do anything at any point in time. People who allow the philosophies of this world to engulf them are those who continue to question the The Holy Bible. The Bible is not a figment of somebody's or people's imagination. Christianity is not a foreign culture. Christianity means Christ-like (living like Christ). God chose those great men to transmit His Word to His people (Israel and all nations that accept Him)
God forgive you. Did you create yourself
Do you know that your very existence is depended on CHRIST JESUS. Do not be so concern with the things of this world. For this world will soon past away.Christianity is never a foreign religion. Christianity is about salvation.Salvation of your soul. Jesus Christ shared His precious blood because of you and me.Jesus loves you very much. Confess Him as your personal saviour. Remember, there is no other name under heaven or beneath earth that we must be save. Satan didn't create you, but God,who manifested himself in the flesh as JESUS CHRIST and came to redeem mankind. You are born great and for good works and not condemnation. God is not a racist nor a respecter of persons.
I will end here. Pls. lets talk via phone. Thanks

Mary his mother from childhood. Christianity as it's practiced is not Jesus's work. For Jesus remained a Jew till the end. He never created a religion called Christianity. His followers were Jews, who remained Jewish. And he confirmed that he didn't come to change the laws but to fulfill it. Most of the people you claim to have written the text on Jesus, didn't know him and never met him. It is funny watching Africans, who got their religion from the Europeans trying to out Christian the Europeans. Europeans use Christianity to further their world domination agendas, only the African is to stupid to realise it. If early Christians were in Egypt, Ethiopia and the middle east at the beginning why did it take western Europeans to introduce the religion to sun Saharan Africans? Jesus spoke to those he intended to speak to. Those were his people. Paul, the anti Christ, decided to dilute the 'jewishness' aspect of Jesus' movement by bringing in rif-raffs from other nations. But even he didn't include Sub-Saharan Africans in his message. It is therefore stupid for Africans to try and be more Christians than those who brought you the religion. Galatians, Corinthians and the rest were not sub-Saharan Africans. Stop pretending the bible was written with you in mind.

To the world, fashion or nakedness is acceptable, but in Christiandom it is sinful. So a Christian shouldn't be associated with fashion (or nakedness).People defile the Temple of God in the name of fashion. Don't you know that our bodies are the Temple of God. You seems to be part of the problem. Are you a truly born again Christian. Are you saying that exposing oneself is not sinful in the eyes of God. Some women are objectifying themselves. If women don't want to be objectified, then they should dress modestly and appropriately. For your information, women wearing trousers, finger and toe nails, wevon, make-ups, tatoo, etc. All these are abomination in the sight of God. And God said all those who do these things shall not inherit the kingdom of God because in heaven there are no such things. No spiritually and heavenly minded Christian will do these things.

So the Bible refers to such as carnal Christians. And they have gone to sleep spiritually and have allowed greed, lust, sloth, envy, pride,, gluttony, and ingratitude to have sway over the country.
The prosperity message has become mingled with exploitative tendencies of capitalism. So carnality is the order of the day.

I've been pondering over what really happened to the Christian faith in Ghana for quite some time now. It's said that "what you see is what you get". A cursory look at the social lives of the people and the widening polarization in the political culture paint the picture of a rapid degeneration of the quality of life generally. Christianity is a way of life and one would expect the majority Christian population would have a huge positive influence on every aspect of ghanaian life, from business to social to political activity.Churches and men of God have mushroomed overnight but now we know it's all about the filthy lucre. The proliferation was and is for personal and selfish gains. If it is about personal salvation and exaltation then it's been a huge failure. My expectation was that true christian men and women would take over not just the runningfof the government business but also influence and shepherd every aspect of our lives from the turbulence to serenity, sanity and prosperity . The apathy and deterioration in the living standards and the general direction of the nation is an indictment on the 70 per cent christian majority. How can we be retreating in the battle of life when we are in the majority. Something is seriously wrong with the leadership as well as the followership that needs to be addressed promptly. Remember! "Ye are the salt of the earth but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under the foot of men. "(Matthew 5:13). "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. "(Matthew 5:48).

We see this a lot in America. What we call "seeker sensitive" churches that preach a "soft" gospel that will tickle the ears of the congregation so no one will be offended by the Truth of their own sin and need for a Savior are everywhere - and growing in popularity. Americans are hard pressed to find true Bible-believing churches that preach the FULL Gospel of Christ. Praying for people all over the world, that millions more may be saved before that Glorious Day!

Because there is such a thing as a false conversion, someone who believes himself or herself to be a "true" Christian, yet they have not repented from their sin and totally dedicated their lives to Christ. The Bible says that we will know them by their fruits. The fruits that we are seeing from this generation of profession Christians who are pious on Sunday and bear stickers that claim "religion", yet are still living in sin, are not truly saved. Sadly, they may be blind to their own sin, thinking themselves "in the clear" and saved, when they never really were saved through faith in Christ and what He did on the Cross in the first place.

Mr.Coleman, Is this not the end product of the FALSE SALVATION ( Jesus dying for our sins) that you and your colleagues go round preaching? If you tell me or assured me that Jesus ( peace be upon him) came to die for my sins and I go about stealing, dressing indicent, adultory and almost all the bad things that Mr.Coleman mention in his piece, who is to be blamed? Why will i be worried knowing very well that someone has taken all these sins that I have committed, personally, I won’t be held accountable for these sins on the day of judgement….Folks this SALVATION thing is nothing but a bunch of lie , a hoax and in clear contradiction to Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him
Mr.Coleman, I strongly believe that , Ghanainas will surely change their attitude if they are thought in the church that they will be held accountable for their good and bad deeds in the day of judgement as clearly stated in Ezekiel 18:20. Jesus (peace be upon him) did not die and will not die for our sins.
Mr.Coleman i can’t wait to see you write about the BIG FISH itself. The loothing and stealing that the west did when they colonize Africa in the name of christianity

Oh, brother, I think you have miss the mark. All what is happening cannot and will never be the end product of salvation. Salvation in JESUS CHRIST can never be a false doctrine as you perceive. It is only in JESUS CHRIST that we are saved. Salvation starts with genuine repentance first, then baptism (by immersing in water) in the name of Jesus and receipt of the Holy Spirit (to live holy life).JESUS CHRIST shared His Precious Blood on the Cross of Calvary to take away our sins. It is now left with the individual to accept JESUS CHRIST by repenting from his sins and confessing Him as Lord and personal saviour. JESUS is the way, the truth and the light, no want goes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6)

It is unfortunate to hear people quote scriptures to justify their evil actions. Well, anybody can call him or herself a Christian, but God knows His people. People who think Christianity is just a social institution have already miss the mark. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Men who encourage women to dress provocatively and justify their actions with scriptures are completely dead spiritually and they have no conscience.

Great article but I believe what is being practiced by Ghanaians in voodoo Christianity. The reason they have no problems with paying for their sins through money and special favours is the same reason they use to provide yams and livestock for the shaman to cleanse them. There is also the issue of Ghanaians 'Christians' and their leaders seeking powers from the dark side to make them successful. Voodoo-ism is what they are practicing. They've just labelled it Christianity. It's a façade. Most of them don't know what Christ said about anything. It takes a corrupt and lazy mind to reconcile Jesus' sayings about the rich and the kingdom of heaven and the rich pastors they go to. Ghanaians are not Christians in any sense of the word. They are church goers. And what they practise at 'church' is a lazy and lax form voodoo-ism. The type of voodoo that doesn't include the voodoo gods coming to punish you if you fail them. This 'Ghanaian christianity' is the source of the rampant corruption, indecency and destruction. After all this god of their new-found religion forgives them for every crime they commit. It is much more lenient god than the voodoo gods of Ghana.
