A school comprises teacher and student(s). We can neither achieve quality nor mass education without good packages for the key players.
So far, which of the packages elaborated in this long article provides an incentive to the teachers? Are the authorities of the view that the current salaries (typically less than GH S 1000.00) being paid to the average graduate teacher are enough for continuously increasing their workload?
I'm sure the projects have considered how GES and GNAT are systematically padding the teaching field with fake/unqualified teachers. No quality education can be guaranteed in Ghana unless the teacher training and motivation system is relooked at critically.
