I was at Mamxmart last Tuesday and I must say that they are doing well with the construction. I was told that the work will be over by October but in the meantime, all steps at ensuring the safety of customers are being taken. I tank management for giving the cordial treatment when I inquired and really I commend them for their steadfastness in this shattered economy.

Hmmm, it I sad the way we Ghanaians behave. Some people cry foul but they are unable to clean their own act. When investors bear the unbearable to hold on in these difficult conditions which we brought unto ourselves due to the corruption of our systems, some people see no sense in it and try to insult them. Look our own are brothers and sisters are running away from hardship seeking asylum in Brazil, Togo and Ivory Coast so what are we talking about. We must praise these people for enduring what we cannot even stand. Ghanaians, let us wise up and learn to appreciate

Growing up in Accra in the early 60's was fun even in a wretched existence; Ghanaians owned most of what they toiled. How did we get to where we are now where Ghanaians holding positions of authority have sold the soul of Ghana to foreigners? Let me be blunt; there is never a place in Lebanon, China, Turkey, South Africa, India, Pakistan and anywhere we believe freedoms, liberties and free market principles flow freely that we will find foreigners hold the destiny of a nation in its hands but in Ghana.
We have had Lebanese of second and third generations who have come to own every parcel of land that once belonged to the national government and no amount of connection would have allowed the government to part ways of those properties to real authentic and genuine Ghanaians. These days we have Lebanese, and any number of foreigners from God knows where reigning on Ghanaians because the simple minded idiotic card carrying fanatics of the NDC and NPP think money means power and are unfazed mortgaging the future of generations to come on a few silver coins now. Our leaders, from J.J. Rawlings through Kufour, Atta-Mills and now Mahama have sold everything of value in Ghana even as most clowns in Ghana talk about hatred for America without reason and or fundamental justification worth a dime. And yes our rich and politically connected can buy things from anywhere their stolen money can take them but may never know and or phantom what those foreign owners of those shops think and say about how idiotic they find our leaders.
This wayward behavior of our political educated elite class has given rise and acceptability to why Indian’s, Chinese and people of non Ghanaian parentage can jump ahead of any line where Ghanaians form a queue or are able to bribe our glorified police when they are involved in motor vehicle accidents where they are as guilty as sin. Go to anyone of those Maximart stores and one is likely to find our young prostitutes of women doing their devilish best to attract pennies from patrons even as those in-house Ghanaian workers act snooty at Ghanaian customers but polite and subservient to customers of foreign origins.
