This is exactly the point i made sometime back.That the NDC cannot be a master of a trade invented by the NPP that is institutionalized corruption and crony capitalism kick started by the Kuffour regime.Voracious greed and avid self-centredness connived to derail the ideals of the june 4th revolution paving the way for white collar criminals to run amok like bunch of thieving monkeys in a maize field.Some key members of the revolution including cadre loyalists have been hypocrites and traitors.Loyalists like Martin Amidu who try to kick against corruption have been vilified and victimized with his life under threat.It is an unfortunate situation to have pockets of demonstrations and revolts on grounds of corruption and poor governance against a social democratic party like the NDC in power.I know of a young doctor who was out rightly dismissed from the Ghana Health Service because he was vocal against corrupt practices causing lives at Effia Nkwanta hospital.It is shameful the young doctor has been made a scapegoat with top public servants committing heinous crimes and amassing illegal wealth being shielded by government.I fully agree with Alhaji Nnusah Fuseini that the NDC must eat a humble pie and do a self introspection regarding the current state of unbridled corruption.Reference is now being made to litany of corrupt deals in the NDC and in the Mahama led administration in particular.The NDC is now losing the high moral grounds in the fight against corruption a key factor that appeals the party to majority of voters deemed the party of the poor masses. It is self-inflicted damage informed by greed and opportunism.
