Is it not surprising for Mamasseh Awuni to have bypassed his own community/area,where he could obtain credible first-hand accounts,but give prominence to far away areas where challenges or even ouright failures were recorded,so as to castigate such a laudable initiative?
A lot of what is being done in the name of journalistic endeavours,is simply the fighting of 'proxy battles' on behalf of certain interest groups in this country. We have witnessed this this unhealthy development in the Drillship Saga,as wellas the Merchant Bank brouhaha,where only portions of the true story have been told by so-called
senior journalists!
Why for instance are people who are asking questions about the propriety of the investment decisions of SADA,that involve the Stanbic Bank,[maintaing call deposits] not equally outragd and suspicious about KT Hammond`s decision to channel legal work to a law firm he had been associted with, as a partner,for many years? We all remember the positions you Akadu,have taken on some of these issues,so spare us your contrived 'righteous indignation'!
