In fact, this is a matter of general education versus specialized education.The blander and ignorance exhibited by Dr Micheal Kpesah Whyte was very disgraceful. These are the people at the top taking decisions for mother Ghana. Now let us analyze the profile of the two individuals mentioned in this article. Dr Kpesah holds general education PhD and applied general knowledge and was wrong but Austin Gamey with smaller qualification applied a a specialized skill here and was more superb than the Doc. Whilst Austin Gamey is self employed Kpesah Whyte is a drain on government resources because as a graduate of general education he cannot be self employed. This is why those institutions, like Achimota and Legon, promoting and imposing general education on Ghana should now bow their heads in shame. I will therefore call on Prez Mahama to fast track the establishment of the Technical Universities to serve as the citadel of specialize education in Ghana.
