He appears humble when he is begging for votes but that is because he's hidding his true nature.
Now, an arrogant person can make a good president. That is possible. But do not tell us that the man proved that he is not arrogant when he accepted the SC decision. The fact is that he couldn't have gained anything by using his arrogance and patapaa to reject the SC especially since he was preparing the grounds for a third go at the presidency.

Even if you lost there was not going to be any penalties to pay anyone. It is going to be borne by the TUC workers and the nation as a whole. Knowing very well they, the NPP lost but they do not care all Ghanaians must suffer for not voting for NPP.
Part of the reason for a downward spiral in the economy which no one has been bold enough to quantify. This is what think tanks should have done be now. Imani and others but they refuse to do but blame the president.
The best example is the shipwreck in Korea has resulted in total slowing of investment in that economy has been reported. The Sewol tragedy and lost of so many lives on April 16th and it is being felt already in the economy of Korea.
Now think about an 8 months ordeal of say no president in Ghana or just battling with a case in Supreme Court all deliberately uneashed on the people of Ghana to make us suffer by Nana Addo and the NPP. NPP Ghanaians are watching you and silently watching you dirty moves.

When the British left many decades our rural folks and I remember my grandmother understood better what she called the Pound Sterling economy where she counted hercedi currency in pound. Doubling the cedi for a pound they said in the market.
Post redenomination woes unleashed on Ghana by Dr Bawumia and the NPP. First they overprinted the cedi which is inflationary and was glaring to everyone luckily the overloaded plane with the Ghana cedi landed with nose up in the air and the AMA did a fantastic job to bring the nose down to earth at Kotoka International Airport. Where is that excess liquidity that came into the system after redenomination?
Bawumia pretended Ghc1=$1 of course maybe in a "drugs laced"economy yes but not. a no nonesense Prof Mills' detoxed economy of NO drugs.
Sorry Dr Frimpong this is not medicine. Agriculture is collapsing that is true and we need solutions not just repeating by saying we have this problem which we all know. While abroad we all contributed money for you to start the Cardio centre in Korle bu through the Ghana Embassies around the world suported by Jerry Rawlings.
But when you redenomination like the one Dr Bawumia make Ghana do your exports become too expensive so countries will not buy your goods as they would have if it felt cheaper. Investment in your country also dries up.
Since in reality your economy does not support that due to low manufacturing sector inputs like insecticides and fertilizer for all agriculture, cocoa especially becomes very expensive for farmers to afford hence, the problem in agriculture, health (medicineor prscription drugs are imported too) so all becomes expensive.
So it is not as if Mahama does not care about the plight of the people but the NPP useless redenomination is also a culprit which Bawumia seem to be running away from.
In South Korea where I was compelled to d a research about redenomination. They refused to do it and today as I talktheir won still carries "000s" like Ghana did prior to July, 2007 that is W1,000 or 1,000 won =$1. And they are probably the 15th largest economy.
So who is to blame on the economy? Certainly, it has taken time to manifest that is why it was a TROJAN HORSE and my article was even the first to be published on the Bank of Ghana website where Dr Bawumia wirked as Deputy Governor but did he care. No, billions could be made by party cohorts so why not. Now we are all going to suffer for it.
Then the same people turn round and

Now let me finish withe the prisioner or a thief who says I accept the sentence but do not agree. These were the words of Akufo-Addo to the whole world.
The analogy is will the mobile phone accept the prison sentence but also not agree meaning or someone should explain to me. After serving a prison sentence say even for a year because in his heart as Addo a "lawyer" he does not agree so if this prisoner is released he will again steal a mobile phone? I really can't comprehend Nana Addo's reasoning as a lawyer after the Supreme Court judgement.
For Ghana to go through another 8 month ordeal or more because of Nana Addo in 2017 let those who have the gift of God in Wisdom like the writer advice him against becoming a candidate like this writer.

I think I like Nana Addo but not as president for reasons that will take a whole article to explain. "The fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom."
One just another account voters look at is trust and the bible says " love your neighbour as yourself. The question is why should Nana Addo champion the death of Prof Mills so he President by calling him sick and a ghost till he died. Prof was not a neighbour but a college, class, room, sports mate and even a friend. So why did he lead the NPP with such vitrolic culture of insults we see in Ghana today?
The TRUST factor overwhelmingly disqualifies Nana Addo in every way and it is too late and would require deliverance beforewe begin.

Does Ghana in truth and reality want a president that has no certificate in this day and age? And pretend he was a lawyer all these years.
Today, I read that in if you want to do business they will will request not just your business credentials but also your resume (certificate of college).
No wonder Samsung is making record profits around the world because of their diligence.
In the USA it is commonplace that even to work as a sweeper, a janitor they call it you have to pass a drugs test so let all Ghanaians know this before they come here.
So how about Nana's drug test for instance as he has been accussed many times. I am sorry though to mention this issue.
President Kufuor even as former president fully respects the Otumfuo just as is Rawlings so why will Nana lie to the King. Kufuor remains a gentle gaint and that was the main reason Ghanaians voted for him twice amidst his flaws he respected the mighty just as the ordinary Ghanaians and they could feel it. Thank you.

For his own health and safety Nana Akuffo ADDO would do well to spare himself the extremely detrimental physical and mental stresses associated with running for office. I suppose that from the NPP voter's point of view they are looking forward to voting for a winner, that is someone with broader appeal to ALL Ghanaians. For sure Nana Akuffo Addo has strong appeal WITHIN the NPP. It is obvious so far that he has not been able to convince anyone else to switch to his side. PUT BLUNTLY AKUFFO ADDO HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO ATTRACT THOSE SECTIONS OF THE POPULATION THAT CAN SWING THINGS ROUND IN HIS FAVOUR. That is sad for a party in opposition who should probably be hoping for a large voter turn out. When the masses turned up to vote in the 2nd round of 2008 and in 2012 Nana lost. It appears Nana is not liked by majority of the masses. He scores low on likeability. If Nana truly loves the NPP he will step down for a younger more likeable candidate who can win the elections one touch for the NPP.

Of course:
1. President Mahama has very good reasons to propagate free SHS education because it is a National agenda.
2. Nana's political records are similar if not same as Dr Danquah who for three times could not even win an election in his own town. So the fall in votes in Nana's own regions is nothing new. He may be popular in Kyebi or NPP but as you rightly said he is not electable by Ghana.
3. Sorry, Katakyie the 'all die be die' mantra is not a convenient thing to say. It amounts to a political suicide and Nana will always pay for it so far as Ghana politics is concerned because Ghanaians hate division and tribal discrimination. What a display of a political ignorance by someone who, you call seasoned and experienced social leader?
4. You were right on the silly 'no Nana, no vote' cry by some of the unintelligent NPP supporters who, could not realise that Ghana is bigger than Nana or anyone else.
5. Katakyie, you have done no justice or relevance to your article by saying ' Nana competed the last election with cheats, thugs and liars whilst at the same time you outline the qualities the Ghanaian voter looks for and how His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama easily won the election within 3 months only.

6. Of course, 'good name is better than riches' Of course good name is better than property conscious at all means mentality, lies, innuendos, fabrications and intellectual laziness.
7. I am glad you have now seen the light. It has taken you so long and the gentle efforts by some on this forum and around you have exposed you to objective of the socio-economic, environmental, political, political psychology and leadership debates criticisms and analysis.
8. Lastly you have got it totally wrong. Nana had no sure but to accept the verdict of Lords/Ladyships in the case of the election appeal. As a good citizens we all have to respect our laws and actions of the judiciary failure would be an appeal but no one, I repeat no one can go against the law especially, when one is hoping to become the leader of the land. Kofi Abrefa Busia tried it with his 'no court, no court' nonsense but he regretted it. Nana was aware what Ghanaians had in stock for him if he had responded otherwise to the verdict and he was wise accept the verdict. The intelligence around him foresaw a greater and more powerful force against him so he had no choice but to accept verdict even though unsavoury and unpalatable for him and NPP.
