    The GMO law seeks to prohibit research and development of new variants by other sources. That is partly where the crux lies. Aside from that what are the effects of these new traits on the consumers?

    You need to read more about GMO before you try to educate someone on the dangers and benefits of GMO. I am also an Nkrumaist, but I don't follow blindly because Samia happened to lead the anti-GMO movement.
