NDC party is in government to win the next election not to solve the dire problems of our country Ghana.Papa Ndoum you said it well, please continue to expose their dark ways.It is because of corruption we are not developing or making any meaningful progress as a country.Until the leadership of this country show the way,we should all forget about a better Ghana. Why is the Minister of Agric still at post after condoning so much corruption? What is Mahama afraid of, that he will spill more beans if he fires him? Yes you can only fight corruption if you are incorrupt yourself.Mahama, we are expecting you to take some bold steps to project and execute a corruption-free administrion; for now you are failing.

Seriously speaking, the NDC apologists' equalization technique is no defense at all. If it's not a denial then it must be the admission of wrong doing. My bewilderment is our collective unwillingness and inability to come together to defend our individual and collective interests as citizens.
The change we yearn for can happen in 2 ways only, top to bottom or from bottom up.
The success of the top-down approach like the US Republicans Trickle Down Economy system is more often the exception than the rule. Those at the top who constitute themselves into an untouchable group will always favor an eight year maintenance of the status quo by which time they'd have stashed away enough cash to last them till their dying day. Meanwhile they work hard to keep us divided and follow up with just talking the talk but with no substantive changes in the living standards of the people . It's all directed at appeasing and soothing the anger of the majority poor who're suffering under the weight of unbridled corruption. A couple of years ago they ganged up and talked momentarily about a Right To Information bill that has since been caught up in a perpetual grid lock of parliamentaty procedure , and a citizens ID and SSN (social security number) as pertains in the US and other developed economies. These will never see the light of day as that will amount to throwing the hangman's noose around their own necks .
The most effective of the two is the bottom-up approach.
It's always been a near impossibility to arrest and prosecute these nation wreckers. The nouveaux riches of the ruling gang prefer to operate below the radar. When they're operating below the radar they leave no paper trails, and prefer to use middle or front men for most of their financial and business transactions. The other reason why they're able to get away with their stolen wealth is most ghanaians are disproportionately ADDers. We talk passionately but partisanly about an issue for a while and soon forget all about it. When discussing the issues don't we approach them impulsively, don't we relapse into mood swings, experience a loss of concentration and finally a memory loss? This happens daily on the ghanaweb.
We need to organize from the grass root level and fight the menace of corruption before it destabilizes the entire nation to our peril. This is where we have need of good spirited leaders . We cannot win the fight in disorganized and disoriented small groups. It must be a sustained, organized frontal asssult by all stskeholders until victory is won. And it must be a multi-partisan approach. The nation must come before any political party.

When are we ever going to hear a frank and unvarnished truth from our politicians? Paa Kwesi Nduom ought to be ashamed of himself because it is one thing for someone who has not had the opportunity to serve the country to talk above his or her head but it is another for those who have had the opportunity but screwed the chance because of money and or loyalty.
When ex-President J.A. Kufour assumed the presidency in January 2001 Ghana's government was not debt free, neither was our economy humming on all cylinders and or Ghana's unemployment at 5-percent. The one thing that was true however was the government ownership of Ghana Telecom, Ghana Airways, and a fair amount of government owned lands and real estate. When the very J.A.Kufour left office in January 2009, Ghana had lost most of the things available prior to Kufour’s arrival. During the time Paa Kwesi served along with Nana Akufo Addo. If Ghana is corrupt now it is because Ghana was corrupt then and will continue to be corrupt; politics is a means by which Ghanaians desiring to be rich go to get rich.

yes, Nduom is right to tell it as it is. Can't fight corruption with propaganda. Mahama must wake up or become the worst President in Ghanaian history
