Why Dr. Nkrumah Was Called The Show Boy In Ghana.

One of the most interesting concepts in the NLM’s claim for Federation was a case for the Gold Coast as an African country to “add something to the world’s culture by formulating a constitution that is based on our OWN WAY OF LIFE AND MANNER, TRADITION AND CULTURE- and NOT BLINDLY copy European models.
The African genius can be tapped to produce a Constitution NOT from the text books of the British but based on our customs and traditions. The Chiefs in Asante/ Akyem fully threw their weights behind the dreaded NLM with “Mate-meho” as its local name in 1955.
The biggest claim however, was that the NLM was seeking to end the CPP’s victory streak for the third time in 1956, but on this occasion, they were SELFSERVING intended to buttress a Sectarian and SELFISH REGIONAL INTERESTS. If their claims were genuinely made in 1955, what prevented them to be RE-STATED AGAIN IN 1969 when Busia and his friends riding home on the wings of a REACTIONARY COUP DE’TAT, were assigned the task of creating a new constitution for the second Republic in |Ghana. The wonderful claims for a constitution based on our customs and traditions were FORGOTTEN even by these great African traditionalists. When the late Otumfuo Agyeman Prempeh II asked Dr. Busia about Federation now that he was the Prime Minister of Ghana, Busia replied the King that it had been DISCARDED. The King gave a NICE ROYAL SMILE after shaking his head in disbelief, and never uttered another word again. The NLM/Progress Party led by Busia DECEIVED THE ASHANTI/AKYEM CHIEFS LED BY OTUMFUO OSEI AGYEMANG PREMPEH ii AND ALSO DISGRACED THE GOLDEN STOOL ON TOP. The NLM which the NPP represent today 2014 killed thousands of innocent men, women and children who were mostly non-Akans from Northern Ghana working down south as Miners, Cocoa Farm workers, Sanitary labourers, Truck pushers, truck drivers, chop-bar workers and what have you because of Federation on a narrow tribal front. They were killed in a cross fire between the NLM and CPP for nothing. They used “419” tactics, Buga buga politics, tribalism and out right lies and deceit and got the full support of the Manhyia Palace only to say “Well dodged” when they won political power through a coup in 1966.
Truth be told, NPP members are SELF SERVING POLITICIANS and not true patriots and so, we must be very careful when dealing with them.
They always put a particular arrogant, proud and violent tribe before the people and lose general elections since 1951, 1954, 1956, 1979, 1992, 1996 and resort to violence because they first came to power through the bloody coup of 1966 and their second victory was in the year 2000 led by Mr. J. A. Kufuor because of Rawling,s long stay in power from 1982-2000. Dr. Nkrumah had the following titles;

2. Star of Africa
3. Hope of Millions of Down trodden Blacks
4. Deliverer of Ghana
5. Show Boy
6. Great Leader of Street Boys
7. Iron Boy
8. Handsome Boy from Nzema
Kwame Nkrumah had given an answer to all the twaddle and tripe and the dirty scribblers. The violent tribal grouping, National Liberation Movement responded in a more male volent abuse thus “Those who supported the CPP in the Ashanti Region are those who belong TO NO FAMILY or those WHO ARE STRANGERS, NOT PROPERLY TRAINED to appreciate the value of the true and noble Akan. The CPP majority in the Assembly moved to ban parties formed on religious and tribal lines. The tactics of the NLM was in at thwarting independence and preventing the coming into fruition of the Pan Africanist dream of its leaders. Organized bank robbers who always collect loans from the banks and refuse to pay with impunity.
They are stooges, imperialist agents and arch-reactionaries who sold all the assets of Ghana after the 1966 bloody coup d’état to foreigners over a dinner table. Forty five (45) factories that employed thousands of Ghanaians were operating in full capacity before Nkrumah’s overthrow in 1966. Persons from the Danquah/ Busia tradition crippled Ghana and NOT any tribe or political class. These are the bare facts which caused Ghana’s backward match to poverty, Disease, corruption, illiteracy, Indiscipline, massive unemployment, unpatriotism, disunity and hatred are all caused by the NPP. Dr. Nkrumah could dance Kpalongo with Gas in Accra, Agbadza with Ewes in the Volta Region, Adowa with Akans, Damba with Dagombas in Tamale and could dance “Bawaa” and “Dugu” at Wa with the Dagaaba and Walas in the Upper Region now the Upper West Region. However Dr. Busia was too arrogant and snobbish to do what Nkrumah could do.
