What efforts are the burgeoning Middle Class in Ghana;doing to lift the development.
In my opinion, they seek solace in collaborating with NGO's as a "safer"option in income guarantee rather than taking risks in enterprise.

There are still many aspects of Nkrumah's 7-year Development Plan that can still be implemented albeit with modifications to suit changed conditions. The 7-year Development Plan was a professionally realized work that undertaken by economic experts without regard to political orientation. For example, J.H. Mensah, a Danquah-Busia man, was part of the team of expects, and he has since expressed his regret for the termination of the plan. After the 1966 coup, even UN development experts from Western countries appealed to the military dictatorship not to stop the implementation of the plan.
Thanks to CPP for being the only party to condemn the imposition of GMO's on us. This is the foreign menace to our agriculture, health and future. The local menace is "galamsey" or small-scale mining. The illegal miners are on the rampage, poisoning farming land and sources of drinking water. Galamsey is the direct result of the catastrophic unemployment that has been visited on the people by the destruction of Nkrumah-built enterprises by various regimes since 1966 but especially by successive P/NDC administrations. Today, the "Consultants" who devised the evil plan for getting rid of over 300 enterprises and assets - the cause of university graduate unemployment - claim to be the ones who can solve Ghana's economic problems!
CPP must continue to inform the people of our superior plan to lift the nation out of the abyss.
