Asante kingdom have a lot of money and Gold and other natural resources but many Asante people are living in abject poverty why should it happen in that way with money and resources but still poor? the reason been that since 1902 up to date the Asante people never had a good leader to lead them, all of them are selfish and greedy cum politics that is why Asante region is in the ditch like that.Look at the Adansi where they extract the gold is like ghetto, from New Edubiase, Obuasi, Adansi Akrokerri, Fomena, DOmpoase etc all these towns are like ghetto's our kings are so corrupt from their hair to their toes all what you can see is corruption.
Compare and contrast Johannesburg of South Africa and Obuasi and judge for yourself. Am incline to believe that BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT HUMAN IS TRUE, our live is like a VULTURE, we always prefer rotten things to the real ones that is how VULTURES look like the same thing apply to us. And the most painful thing is that the AGA scholarship allotted for the Adansi's they never give to the real Adansi's, they only give to the aliens. How can an alien who did not hail from Adansi benefit AGA scholarship which is allotted for the those who comes from the Adansi Area? My Adansi people the time has come, let come together to demand an accountability from our kings including OSEI TUTU II.
NAKED will be back.
Follow me if you can but put all the burdens behind.

Why the insult? What have they done to you to deserve such a "below the belt blow"? Northerners are Ghanaians aren't they and that old stigma should be a thing of the past.

Don't the chimps/monkeys like ahoofe, akadema (whatever their names) write foolish articles everyday? What is wrong if a 'human being' write an excellent educative article to brighten your low-IQed brain?

It seems all the chiefs have this "wura" at the end of their name. Is there any explanation to that? Wura is an "Akan" word.

'Wura' literally means 'owner'. This is the title taken by Gonja chiefs. I am Ewe but grew up in Damongo

My dear Amponsah, some bit of education for you. Whether the leper prayed for salt or north, it may surprise you to learn that Daboya sits on oil. Indeed, it is one of the few northern towns on the GNPC map believed to be sitting on oil reserves. I saw a GNPC geological survey map in which the major oil deposits in the north are around Daboya. The only little problem is the age of the rock on which the oil is located. This makes extraction more difficult and expensxive.

Benji, thanks. Indeed some places in the overseas area of northern Ghana there is oil. The technology of the future would making drilling easy.
The Volta around Daboya can produce 45MW of electricity.

During the 2012 election campaign I happened to be in the company Dr Bawumia and he assured the chief and people of Daboya that he would personally see to the construction of a bridge which he thought would boost economic activity in the area. However the people of Daboya chose instead to vote for their tribesman and today are complaining????
