Most who are active in party politics in Ghana and by extension pledge of loyalty to tribe over nation we have no one to blame for the woes we face in Ghana but ourselves. Our failure to look at our own culpabilities and contributions to societal moral decadence has clouded our judgment; therein lays our acceptance of bribery and corruption as societal norm.
Is there not a linkage between the rotten judicial system we have and the very people who have served as A-G's since 1966? Are there no linkages between the government in power that implemented the decentralized urban and rural planning and development scheme and the mess we have with land ownership and management? Yet no one in the NDC and or the NPP would accept blame. The one person in Ghana who have had the political clout derived from family who is a lawyer by trade, served as Ghana's foreign minister, as Ghana's A-G and head of a political party seeking the office of Ghana's presidency, Nana Akufo-Addo may want to explain why Ghana's judiciary can continue to have this form of performance in this day and age.
There are only two problems with Ghana's judicial system and they happen not to be the quality or lack of legal professionals but with front line investigations and record keeping that encompasses evidentiary chain of command and control. Would Nana Akufo-Addo and or Martin Amidu care to explain what was their priority and achievement in the AG’s office no matter how brief their tenure?
