The people who are behind such silly moves to unseat Hon. Samia from the position of the Chairperson of the CPP are rather those seeking to destroy the party and make sure we never come to power.
We have said it time and again, that for the CPP to be considered by the Ghanaian electorate as a viable alternative to the dominant political parties, it has to be seen as being relevant to the needs of ordinary Ghanaians.
This is exactly what the party, under the leadership of Samia is doing. For example, the ONLY political party that has clearly come out to condemn the IMPOSITION of genetically modified food into our food chain is the CPP! Even though most of the supporters of the NDC, the NPP are against eating GMOs, their leaders are all quiet!
This puts Samia Nkrumah's leadership of the CPP in a class of its own. It is a shame that the writer does not suggest any person as her replacement. Those people behind these treacherous moves to attack Samia, such as Dr. Abu Sakara Forster, are all for IMPOSING GMOs on Ghanaians!
For the first time in the history of the party, since the CIA coup of 1966, the CPP is beginning to be attractive to the ordinary Ghanaians! what Samia needs from every right thinking Ghanaian at this critical time, is encouragement and support. Samia must be re-elected to continue with the good work she is doing!

How can a self-described Regional Secretary of the party, who should know better about party rules and processes, of all people, take to the media to discuss any concerns? Especially through a personal attack on the national leader of the party and negative propaganda that hurts the party's image? What does Mr Essien understand about CPP's laid-out process for problem reporting and resolution? Is this Essien aware of the indiscipline and chaos that actions like his bring to the party if every executive or member were to follow in the same path?
I call on the Regional Chairperson under whom this Essien serves to start the established processes to discipline him immediately. Essien was not appointed to ignore the party constitution, bye-laws and processes. It is long past time that the message must be conveyed to all CPP members that membership is voluntary and a privilege AND NOT A RIGHT. Membership constitutes acceptance of and adherence to party constitution and regulations. Any CPP member who has issues and is not willing to follow party procedures must either leave or be expelled. The Ashanti Regional Chairperson of the party must convene a meeting of the necessary party organ to bring the book to bear on this sickening exhibition of gross indiscipline and treachery!
The hand of the enemies of Nkrumahism and the CPP is surely behind this dirty campaign and must be militantly confronted and nipped in the bud!

Anybody who has got two pieces of sense in their heads can see that the CPP is not functioning as a Party - in other words it is dead or dying. The pulse of the once great CPP is gone. Nobody feels it anymore.
Dire situations call for dire measures and I fully support the initiative of Essien to instigate emergency revolutionary applications to revive an obviously dying organization.
The CPP, in spite of all its potential as the vanguard of the African liberation movement, has today been completely demoralized and emasculated into total insignificance by a herd of Samia clones and goons.
What 4Ward Ever is saying is akin to Kwame Nkrumah resigning himself to remain General Secretary under the poor visionless performance of Danquah just before he broke away from the UGCC to form the CPP. There are times in life when desperate situations call for desperate measures and this is one such time.
Those reactionary idiots who in spite of all evident odds, are still supporting the indisputably and shamefully inept Samia as Chairperson of the CPP are like maggots feeding on a rotten corpse. People like 4Ward Ever, who are ever ready to conjure ideological slogans obviously without understanding what they really mean, are like all those so-called Comrades who denied Nkrumah in 1966 and rather chose to dine with the devil. They are in 'the game' only for their personal convenience, benefits and pleasure.
To all intents and purposes, Samia is either a willing or an unwitting tool of global imperialism. A convenient dismal failure that serves the purpose of our historical oppressors to suppress the daunting specter of the possible resurgence of Nkrumaism and the ideals of African Unity.
I congratulate Essien for his bold stance in overlooking stifling bureaucratic Party regulations whose only purpose and use in the present circumstances, it seems, is to protect the moribund status quo and to keep the CPP in a comatose condition for the interests of imperialism to freely flourish.
If Samia and her dummies are not removed to give way for a more productive and vibrant leadership to bring back what she has destroyed in the CPP today, it will inevitably happen tomorrow. The earlier the better.

We can not take the usual path the NDC AND NPP have calved for themselves when it comes to dealing with their internal issues. Our party is so weak at the moment that I don't think it can withstand anymore divisions, bickering,and name calling. If a party member is bold enough to write his observations about the current leaders I don't think it's a crime. However, it should rather be seen as a challenge to our leaders to do better for our dear party. We all yearn for a better fortune for the party we love so much. Thanks

Abu Sakara has not been quiet. He went into action in less than 24 hours after the CPP came out condemning the attempts by the government to IMPOSE GMOs into our food chain by the Mahama Administration!
The CPP must forget about such fake Nkrumahists and concentrate on making the party relevant to the needs of Ghanaians as they have been doing under Samia! Abu Sakara has proved himself to be a disgusting opportunist who is keen to undermine the party!
An alternative and credible figure would be Professor Agyemang Badu Akosa. He is the only Presidential aspirant in the entire country who has thought it fit to condemn the IMPOSITION of GMOs on Ghanaians! All the rest, the Akufo-Addos, Alan Kyeremantengs, and the other jokers are quiet!

The CPP of today is failing because its member confuse between ideas and slogans. Kwame Nkrumah and his men had ideas and ideals but also knew how to get those implemented; the current breed likes the sound of their own voices yelling out slogans. The difference between old school educated Ghanaians of the CPP mold and modern day educated Ghanaians in the CPP, NDC, NPP and others is that while they earned their credentials through grit, grace and discipline in the old days of late people collect them for show.
The poor showing at the 2012 presidential debate was not the making of Samia neither has the wind of tribalism, nepotism and unapologetic stealing at the parliament, executive and judiciary branches of government brought on by the CPP or Samia. There are no more Ghanaian political leaders with vision, ideas and ideals like they use to make them; Ghanaians are in comatose-induced state because of all the finer things in life around without knowing how to earn them except to steal.

Some even haven't paid their dues in years and then there are some like the Baakos and Pratts who claim to be CPP members but publicly admit to voting for other parties. So let me ask you now and right here, if you are a CPP member, what did you volunteer to do for CPP during the last election year? Was it above you to help with putting up the posters and well before the elections, as you correctly point out? What has been your contribution to ensure the success of CPP?
