  One cannot but sense the frustration in the voice of the President in thundering that the release of the 3billion dollar loan from China should be expedited, by addressing the challenges militating against it's release.

  One cannot but sense the frustration in the voice of the President in thundering that the release of the 3billion dollar loan from China should be expedited, by addressing the challenges militating against it's release.
  Indeed, at the time that the loan was syndicated IMANI GHANA-a policy think tank raised a lot of concerns about the loan, about the collaterization of our oil, the length of the collaterization, and against the payment of the commitment fees on the quantum of the loan amount upfront, and gov't was extremely uncharitable about the good intentioned interventions of IMANI GHANA. John Mahama was the Vice President then, and at the time described those who did not support the essence of collaterization as baloney, a foolish position. If current events are anything to go by, it shows clearly that, contrary to the President's position then, Ghanaians have been vindicated in their position when the gov't made Ghanaians to understand that, the loan amount was going to be disbursed by August of 2012, inspite of the concerns and challenges that were raised and have still persisted till today. It is the hope of Ghanaians that, the challenges facing the disbursement of the loan are addressed, so gov't can begin to tackle some of it's infrastructure programs, but truth be told, the NDC gov't have demonstrated that, they lack the mental capacity to address the challenges facing the country, having been in gov't for over 25 years. The performance and delivery is very poor and Ghanaians should be bold in changing the gov't in 2016.
