Struggling to make ends meet on a first-call salary, the pastor was livid when he confronted his wife with the receipt for a $250 dress she had bought. "How could you do this?!"
"I was outside the store looking at the dress in the window, and then I found myself trying it on," she explained. "It was like Satan was whispering in my ear, 'You look fabulous in that dress. Buy it!'"
"Well," the pastor replied, "You know how I deal with that kind of temptation. I say, 'Get behind me, Satan!'"
"I did," replied his wife,"
but then he said, 'It looks fabulous from back here, too!'"

Years back we did operation feed yourself supplementary food production and it helped us a lot. We went further to do fish ponds and others as well. Additionally there was a lot of food when the Irrigation Authority was working well. These form the devil we know. We have not kept faith with this devil because we have not persevere. Instead of persevering and improving what has helped us, we are now chasing an unknown angel in the form of GM crops.
Much has been said about the GM crops which are not in our interest and there are documentaries to that effect which can be watched on YouTube. Examples are 'Seeds of Death and 'The World According to Monsanto. But despite this and all the public reaction Parliament is on course to bring in GM crops. Is it not a government by the people, of the people and for the people and never before has there been public outcry on an issue coming Parliament. There is no need for people to go on demonstration before it becomes obvious that Ghanaians do not want GM crops. What kind of slavery is it that you have to buy seeds from one particular source anytime you want to plant a crop. To the extent that you cannot save your harvest and use it as seed for the next planting season. It is like a man going to buy someone's sperm whenever he wants the wife to be pregnant. What is the freedom in this?
Ghana is for freedom so there should be public education and referendum on this issue. This is because food issue affects everyone and any change should be made known to the public

Why does the US want to give us their money? We do not need nor want it! We can and should stick to organic farming to feed ourselves and export the surplus to them!

Again its the pharmaceutical companies who get to be winners, providing all the chemical medicines that harm them even further! And who owns these pharmaceutical companies? The same agribusiness companies that Ghana's government and scientists are falling over themselves to do business with! USA keep your money! Your people will need it for better healthcare!

The agric minister has said many times this year that, Ghana has more excess food which most of them get rotten. So what is GMO coming to do?.. More food to get rotten or what?.. These stupid leaders must begin to think well!!
