Moses was on the same side of the argument as he was/is, that is, with regards to how they perceive Okoampa. Yet "Ntim" went after this guy because his narrow-minded brain would not accept that Moses was not Okoampa. He does not tolerate dissenting views. Try reasoning with him. It is pointless. And he has the chutzpah to criticize Okoampa on the same grounds? It is not uncommon to see best friends fall out. Even siblings could fall into conflict. As much as we ordinarily would expect the cosy relationships we have endure, often incidents occur to strain them. That is the reality of life.
As shocking as it may sound when people fall out with one others there would be a cause. Why can't you check with Dr. Apraku why he is backing off from Akufo-Addo but calling him a traitor outright? Has Akufo-Addo labeled Dr. Apraku as such? Do you know whether or not the perceived rift between the two might have been the fault of Akufo-Addo's? Or, you think Nana is an angel who never sins or offends others? This should not be personal.
Besides, why should this effort to salvage Ghana's future be a personal battle? The struggle must be focused on the National interest, not someone's selfish ambition. If Nana were even Dr. Apraku's brother and the latter thought it was time to change leadership for the Nation's sake, he would well be in order.
Once again, Nana has no inalienable right to keep the Flagbearer position forever until he wins the Presidency. Grow up!
There are many like me who believe others in NPP could be better candidates and more attractive Choice for a President than Akufo-Addo. Dr. Frimpong Boateng, Dr. Bawumia and Alan all have better chances to win the next Presidential election than Akufo-Addo who bears a hefty baggage almost impossible to shed.
