I advised Dr. Okoampa here on ghanaweb to treat his type as flies flocking to his excrement. Why the crazy fascination with Dr. Okoampa, I don't know. Why he goes that extra mile to ask others about Okoampa, some one he claims he does not respect, is beyond me. He is fascinated with Okoampa. Period. He is all talk, I told him the other time becaus I can see through the masquerade to the fellow behind it. That attention seeker should provide us with a phd if he has one, or a book if he has published one. He has neither, trust me. Don't pay anymore attention to that groupie.

Anyway, I live in Queensland. I have been living here since the early 1980s. It's interesting you mention the US professor, Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe.
He's a brilliant writer though he's not known in Australia. Googling him does not reveal much. It does not sound like he's a known figure in the US.
However, most Ghanaian scholars in the US have a lot of useful information on them when googled. Not so with Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe. This is unfortunate.
Most Ghanaian scholars in Australia who don't read Ghanaweb happen yo know him either. His work, if he has any, is not published in any of the African (or Australian) journals here in Australia. He's not known in African studies, like African literature or politics, here in Australia. Courses on European or American studies don't mention him either.
Could you review his work on Ghanaweb for those of us who, thanks to Ghanaweb, know we have such a brilliant writer in our midst?
Because most African writers/scholars whom I regularly interact with at conferences in Australia know next to nothing about this US professor.
In fact, most have not heard of him or his work. One or two intellectuals among my friends here in Australia know him only through Ghanaweb.
Wole Soyinka, Kofi Awoonor, Chinua Achebe, Ama Ata Aidoo, Ben Okri, etc., are household names in this part of our world.
And please if you know of any journals in Australia which publishes his work, then let me know. I am interested.
You are also saying Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe has done a lot in the international field for Africa? Could you elaborate? Could you give us references? Could you tell us exactly what he has done in liberating the continent? Has he published any of these in books, and, if so, give us titles so that those of us who love him can read them? Was he a guerilla or freedom fighter like Mugabe? In fact, who is he?
I hope your answres will shed more light on this reclusive US profesor.
