China or japan did not become super power country with english language as a medium of communication or instruction. you may a have a point regarding other issues you raised but to say local language presenter cannot compare him/her self to english language presenter is stupid and foolishness. Typical examples are kwami sefa kayi and fiifi banson, they speak fluent english but they present in twi.
