Does he think he will never die? Does he think he can take some money along with him when he dies?. Or he wants to build a country and establish himself a president for life? He is involved in every major defraud of the country. Now he has fictitiously bought a bank for his brother and with this deal the brother can pocket 70% of what he owed to the bank. What a crime!!!!! Preach to him that he will leave all the stolen money behind and go to face the maker empty handed when he dies, and money cannot buy his way to heaven.

Then why did he meet with the board while serving under President Mills. will the President of Ghana or the Vice president call the board of directors of ADB if your father defaults on an Agric Development Bank loan and the bank pursues him for payment.
Second, what is the purpose of those purported assets you have listed? If your claim about the strength of the company is true then why is E&P not paying the loan. Remember the company has never denied it took the loan.
Does the producation of 150,000 chickens per day and "expected contracts" amount to a cash strength of a company? Where did you learn your corporate valuation?
And by the way, is defrauding the country to buy corporate jets an examplerary way of living which Ghanaian youth should emulate?

Ibrahim mahama must pay back the loan contracted from MBG or he risks losing his assets and his cosigners as well. He is not a role model for the youth of Ghana. He is a crook. Ghana has never played on tribal politics/sentiments until Kufour and Mahama occupied the Castle. This is a dangerous trend and NDC will surely lose the vote s of the people of Central and Western come 2016. By extension, it will send the party into opposition. That is what Mahama has done to our great party. A Fanti man, Atta Mills put him where he is but he Mahama is systematically eliminating all the Fantis who matter most for the development of the NDC party and that is not good for the party. Mahama is a tribal warlord with an agenda alien to Ghana's development. All things Ghana is useless to him, then why is he presiding over Ghana. Nigerians have descended on Ghana like vampires determined to destroy our economy while he looks on. Ghana is not subjected to Ecowas protocol. Merchant bank has a right to restructure the loan due to perceived risks. The petition to the presidency smacks of nepotism and has a huge conflict of interest with his brother as VP.
His only recourse is to pay the loan before Merchant Bank is sold. His plans to pay the loan (as per errand boy Kweku Baako) after the bank is sold will define him as a crook permanently.
His brother John Mahama by approving the sale--will also damage the social democratic principles of the NDC.
I am pro-NDC but I will campaign with my Volta friends against the NDC if this "banza" deal goes through.

The NPP/Dumbo/Matemeho/Busia/Danquah group collaborated with enemies of Ghana to overthrow Nkrumah for practicing socialism/communism but now you seem to be against the very ideals that people in the NPP and NDC pretend to seek. Did Kufour or J.J. Rawlings share their stolen wealth with others? Did the Akufo-Addo family and other so-called rich families in Ghana share their wealth with anyone?
There is something called hate speech and most in the NPP and NDC do engage in hateful speeches either because of their ignorance and or intellectual dishonesty; what Ghana needs more of is honesty and principled stance. It is the misconception that when one gets wealthy he or she ought to share it with his or her towns-folks, tribal group or Political Party.
It is for this reason that people jump to defend one of their own unconditionally and without checking the facts in financial charges.
The same reasoning fuels the rush to condemnation of others of different roots on such cases.
We are afflicted with the expectations of the extended family in Ghana. The Communal togetherness in our Culture is erroneously projected into our Capitalist ambitions. And that confuses many of us.
We should be able to distinguish essential welfare interdependence from ideological Communistic Socialism. No country practices a pure form of any ideology. And if we set the USA against Russia as the poles for Democratic Capitalism and Communism respectively, we would see that Sweden for example is more Socialistic than the USA but is broadly considered a Western Democratic Nation. Even the USA has a welfare system and so does all Europe.
We therefore have to have graded mix of both Socialistic and Capitalistic elements in our System that is adjustable based upon the general level of poverty and fair access to opportunities in the Nation.
We should not box ourselves into any ideological corner but constantly revise what level of each component ought to be allowed for the most vibrant Economy possible. What matters most is the full and unrestricted participation of all in our political and economical systems.

If Kuffour ever knew that John Mahama would be picked by Atta Mills as his running mate, he would have blocked the loan agreement outright in 2007. But he did not know. In 2008, it became clear that an Atta Mills victory would signal doom for NPP for 12 to 16 years, as this was certainly going to catapult John Mahama into top contention going by the NDC succession tradition. So Kuffour manipulated the bank to imperil Ibrahim Mahama lest he uses his new found wealth to prop up his brother and the NDC. Now it is clear that one part of the Kuffour agenda was achieved, Ibrahim Mahama has been imperilled, the other half failed. NDC proved to be more resilient and resourceful beyond the support of an individual- Ibrahim Mahama. This is what baffles Kuffour and the NPP who are behaving as if the loan was contracted only yesterday. The truth is that after-thought actions are bound to expose the bad and evil intentions of the perpetrator.

The owner is related to the president so there is a high possiblity that delayed payments to make the debt look bad can drive higher bad debt provisions in the books of Merchant bank. The funds for repayment can easily be channelled into politics with the assurance that the politicians will ensure a bad debt write-off in the Merchant books either through influencing the current board or getting rid of them through an acquisition to enable the perpetrate their plan. For the majority shareholder SSNIT it will not be the first time it will be doing NEGATIVE FINACIAL ENGINEERING TO LOOT THE COFFERS OF THE MASSES. To avoid all the above Ibrahim simply has to pay up(not go for a loan from another government controlled bank like GCB!!) and the matter ends. He has a viable business in Ghana , Liberia and Sierra Leone so should simply live above board and STOP listening to politicians .As the brother of the president he will be scrutinised far more than the ordinary Ghanaian for the simple reason that he also gets un quatified yet material facilitation assistance or support in very aspect of his business. Indded even where it is un solicited. Kuffours son took a loan and paid back in FULL but we were all witness to all that was said. The solution to the current issue is for Ibrahim to PAY THE LOAN IN FULL INCLUDING INTEREST. As for the buyers of the bank and the valuers we should always bear in mind that NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT. They should ensure that the transactions will be seen as above board and at arms lenght irrespective of who is in power including a military dictator!!! i rest my case
