There is no chance in a trillion of Nana beating JM in 2016. The NPP's only strategy now is to convince people of the non-existent hardships in Ghana. They make it look like there was ever a time people just sat down and money and enjoyment flowed like the days of Adam before God added a woe-man to man.
The truth does not support the NPP hysteria and lies will never persist to the end. It is clear that if NPP presents Nana 100 times he will 101 times!

You are entitled to your views.Height has nothing to do with wisdom and patriotism. What Ghana needs in times like this is an experienced politician with tenacity and drive,an incorruptible leader who will not spare even his own if his own decides to be corrupt. Enough for young men who come to the political stage to experiment with the lives of Ghanaians. He who wishes to lead must first learn to serve. Think about the country Ghana and not personalities, relations, beauty etc, which are attributes that do not necessarily bring about progress. Factionalism is not the way to go now for Ghana. We need progress irrespective of where the person taking us to progress comes from, whether he/she is ugly or beautiful. We do not as a country benefit from beauty but rather from progress.

Thanks, Kwaku for your insightful analysis. NPP suffered from all the above issues you outlined and more. But the greatest fault is lack of selflessness and commitment on the part of key party operatives towards the party itself. The self-interest of the key members are deployed to undermine candidates that are chosen as flagbearers at both national and constituency levels. They forget that to undermine current leadership is also to undermine the party in the long run. Surely, NAD is a sure bet, but the decision to be made on that matter must be by consensus of all parties aspiring for the same position.

Forget in the the next election John Mahama will be the candidate of NDC. NPP needs a younger person within Mahama s generation to beat him not an old and tired Akufo Addo. He has done his best but could not get it. I will not waist my vote again on him. He must not do anything that will destroy a whole generation of leadership in NPP. He needs to learn from P willies election in 1979.
I hope Akufo Addo has that leadership quality that makes them say no to certain calls that could end up disgracing people.

In the 2008 elections, late Prez. Atta-Mills was said to have won by 40,000 plus votes; John Mahama, according to the EC won by 310,000 plus votes---obviously indicating how the NDC and the EC had planned well to scuttle the results. The very same people who prayed on Nana to forget about going to court in 2008 agreed this time that something must be done.
My point here is that NPP should be bold enough to tell Ghanaians the roots or cause of the their suffering as is evident in deplorable economic situation prevalent in the country. Building new schools, free education are key or vital in the development of every nation. But we have to be straight forward with the electorate rather than thinking telling the truth as it is rather negative.
We have to do well to win the hearts of more than the 2 million plus that we had esp. winning in the Western and Central regions could help us. But this time the NDC don't have a chance; they foresee great defeat, hence their resort to finding ways to destroy Nana Akufo-Addo's soaring popularity or image. The lie bad though!
