Who watches the watchman ? not only is our society now plagued with the worst forms of hegemony and chauvinistic tribalism but our govt is now the leader in govt sanctioned 419 sakawa scam operations that its notoriety has gone global.we shall now begin a series that exposes the modus operandi of these criminals as all one needs to be is quietly observant and one will see the proofs . in short they take a worthy idea or project , proclaim it good then when it is started by the gullible all of a sudden there are problems , procedures and processes which in the end result only in the promoters or companies spending from a few thousands to millions , in the meanwhile these ndc officials and their civil servant cronies line their pockets with monies from these unsuspecting genuine businessmen. there is definately no agenda to move the country forward , thousands of businesses are being sabotaged in this manner . the pact and alliance of these northerners and ewes cover all institutions so no investigation in these malpractices are undertaken. yes the anti Akan coalition is there to rob not only the Akans but all the unsuspecting who dare to come with their capital but the word is out and now people are getting wiser. the institutions such as the police , army , bni and so on are not there to protect the law but rather cover up for all these criminal activities by the northerners and ewes. if anyone doubts just take the time to investigate what happens to any project in the pipeline starting with the stx or any project for that matter. ministers dont know what their directors are doing , ministries that are supposed to coordinate with each other cant , files getting lost until someone pays , and the tricks are endless. yes its now time to tell the people the truth about these good for nothing criminals of tribal affiliation . their dubious reputation is known globally so now nobody serious wants to touch them yet they continue to travel the world to entice the ignorant who very quickly learn this is a scam govt which does not care about anything but what they can put in their pockets today . we shall soon have our war or revolution to rid us of this yoke. now they steal from us in broad daylight and think of elaborate media spins and schemes to hide the true facts but look carefully the truth is always there . long live the republic of Akan

When Deputy Minister of Mis-iInformation, Ofosu Kwakye , as an NDC panellist on TV, openly challenged NPP that they should stop taking their Presidential candidates from Ashanti/Eastern Regions and rather take from other regions to show that they are a National Party he portrayed that NPP did not like the other regions.
I was worried. I was exasperated.
I expected an immediate reply from the NPP panelist to challenge NDC that they should also stop taking their Presidential Candidates from other regions and rather take from Ashant/Eastern Regions to show that they are also a National Party.—to portray that NDC don’t like Ashanti and Eastern regions.
NPP must be bold.
NPP must face NDC tribal charges squarely and expose their hypocritical tendencies.

This article has really exposed the double standard politics of tribalism the NDC uses to attract votes from the minority tribes. Yes, the NPP challenges the NDC to choose an Ashanti as a flag bearer to demonstrate to the world that the NDC is indeed a national party. And for those Ashanti who are members of NDC, have you also asked yourself if you are been marginalized by the NDC? This article has really nailed it on the head. The fact of matter is that we Ashantis are not tribalistic. We are very sophisticated people who are sure of ourselves and therefore tend to focus on what really matters in our lives. We don't care if there is no Ashanti in the 19 cabinet members of the Mahama administration. The fact of the matter also is that for the entire 19 years or so that Rawlings was in charge and he did everything possible to break the backs of the Ashantis economically, he did not succeed. Today as we speak, more than 60% of private businesses in Ghana are owned and operated by Ashanti's. We are the job creators and Yes we even hire non-Ashantis in our companies because we are not tribalistic. Ashantis don't even anyone because we believe in our capabilities to succeed no matter the circumstance. Go figure.

NPP can reinvent itself internally not by changing what it is now but creating what it isnt.In private bussiness it is said that the salesman must learn to live and work with serious threats from competitors .Some of the tactics of the opponent may be negative and unbearable but perhaps that is what may defeat the opponent who cannot counter it with positive strategies.When you believe in the principle of a tooth for a tooth your organization cannot survive this age of positive analytical thinking and strategy.Devote 10% of time and resources to defend the past and 90% to attack the future.

The NPP is the complete opposite. They marginalize communities associated with minority tribes perceived to be strongholds of their political rivals in terms of the distribution of development and such people feel the status of second class citizens in their own country.
This open descimination is capitalized by the NDC maintain their support base. The NPP has nothing to capitalize on to muddy the tribal waters when the NDC is in power because every region is seen to be having a fair share of development projects.

The current D511 sale saga is a case in point. GNPC had been run aground by December 2000. A drill ship that had already been mortgaged against a huge gambling debt had already been siezed by the financiers (how else could SG get the vessel arrested if it had not been used as collateral?) A government that had itself inherited empty coffers sells the vessels and pays off the debts and deposits the remainder in government chest while it is still paying off huge cedi, dollar and sterling debts debts for the corporation in Ghana and elsewhere.
What is so difficult about explaining this plain roguery to the people of Ghana? Why has this simple matter been allowed to fester on and on?

Anyone in Ghana who dare say Kufour did better than any other government is not one that deserves an intellectual argument because they lack analytical skills or historical perspective. I will say it here again Mr. Yawose, Kufour had the opportunity to minimize tribal politics in Ghana but chose to enhance and inflame passions; he is worse of the leaders Ghana ever had. While NPP zealots worship the ground Kufour spits on, he did more harm that you and others can imagine. Every institution in Ghana is compromised and corrupted because of Kufour and you can take that to the bank. Every project started by Kufour has destroyed Ghana because a government initiated program that is not sustainable becomes a drain on government and society and creates more casualties than without it.
Look at Ghana Telecom, Ghana Airways, School feeding program, NYEP, SADA etc. For those institutions that existed prior to Kufour’s administration he sought without adequate wisdom to sell and fraudulently bankrupt so they could be sold and yet Ghana now rely on a foreign government puppet piece like Vodafone for its telecommunications services. Did Kufour not bring in China to build our stadia and Chinese are here to stay. A meaningless 10 men/women from the Ashanti region or the central region would not make Ghana better if they all carry the mental set of Kufour and or others like you. Ghana first not Ashanti, Central or Volta region; your nationality is not Ashanti but Ghanaian. Kufour sadly represents Ghana not the Ashanti region you and other may wish it to be. This is not to say the NDC, the other major party, is not corrupt and contemptible to the bone and engaged in its own retribution stealing and mismanagement like any before. After all this is Ghana and we like it foolish and tribal don’t we?
