if properly investigated we all know it should end with the impeachment and jailing of mahama . many are blinded and prejudiced by the love of their party or tribalism and do not want to see the truth. this is the saddest event in our history after the murder of Mills . our society and so called leaders are lazy and procrastinating not to mention lacking in courage and integrity so allow this tribal ethnocentric feudal society as opposed to an industrial entrepreneurial mentality and true nationalism with patriotism to flourish. history has proven that all feudal societies be it monarchy's , dictatorships or quasi democracies end up in blood shed whether through revolutions or war in favor of a republican structured system of governance . Bin laden realized the whole Arab world couldn't even produce a car tire and in his limited feudal mind blamed the innocent being the west for state as is the mentality of those trapped in this vicious circle. the northerners and ewes have been right under our noses setting up this catastrophe in the hope of being the ones to exploit and plunder the wealth of the Akans with the help of satellite smaller or marginal groups such as the Gas , krobos and even some of the twi speakers . despite all the money these feudal societies may have such as saudi arabia they can never evolve into the 21st century and develop. yes we have people with doctorate degrees in political science , history or sociology example tony aidoo who is only concerned about how much money he can get but can not point out these grave dangers to his bosses. the greed , selfishness , corruption and backwardness are all fruits of this ethnocentrism and tribalism and ensure we never develop but keep them in power . Gaddafi , Saddam died because they refused to realize that the welbeing and prosperity of the people is a God given right and duty of every govt to secure for their people . they call us separatists and try and make their madness the norm but we know it will be over soon . vikileaks has shown what is the fate of Akans who foolishly think they belong , if she had been an ewe or northerner the crisis control strategy would have said it was a fake tape but instead she was thrown out in the cold to the wolves . a word top the wise , do not trust them or take them into your confidence , long live the republic of Akan

NEITHER DO WE HAVE SUCH QUALITIES AMONG THE NPP PARTY. BOTH THE NPP AND THE NDC HAVE NO CLUE OF HOW TO GOVERN. THEY ALL GROPE IN THE DARK AND HAVE KNOW IDEA WHERE THEY ARE GOING, BUT IF YOU ASK ME TO MAKE A CHOICE BETWEEN THE TWO, I WOULD CHOSE NDC. AT LEAST THEY ARE MAKING THE EFFORT TO FIGHT CORRUPTION WHICH NPP NEVER DID.

The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) is calling for the establishment of a multi-party parliamentary Budget office to check over spending by government.
Addressing journalists on the 2014 budget, Senior Economists with the IEA, Dr John Kwakye expressed worry at the manner in which Ghana’s budget deficit rose from 4.8 percent in November 2011 to 11.8 percent by December 2012.
"Setting up an independent multi-party Parliamentary budget office will probably be the best way to do this.
"For example, it is unconscionable that in 2012, a budget deficit of 4.8%, which was announced in November the previous year in the budget presentation and which became 6.7% in the supplementary budget of July 2012, eventually ballooned to 11.8% in December 2012", Dr. Kwakye noted.
He therefore pointed out the need for government's attention to be drawn to what he called the "weak oversight of government's spending by Parliament" and called for anomaly to be rectified as soon as possible.
The Senior Economist with the IEA was further of the view that Parliament be blamed for the excesses since nobody was held responsible for the failures.

Most of our leaders lack the essential and necessary leadership skills partly because of the country's education system. If Ghana's education system doesn't place much emphasis in the "teaching and learning" process on problem-solving, innovation and 'servant leadership' in our schools, it explains how this affects our decision-making, our lack of vision, lack of creative thinking and lack of innovative drive.
"Responsible and Creative" leadership skills are mostly learned. And if our education system lacks rigorous research, how do we overcome the basic challenges facing our nation/environment? No wonder Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panyin is calling on the U.S[Americans] to come and help clean up the environmental mess of galamsey activities, he has partly supervised in his own backyard.

Hello Kwame,
In your last nonsense article, you besmirched Alan Kyeremateng for trying to run against your uncle Nana Akufo Addo for NPP flagbearship. A plurarity of NPPERS and Ghanaians know that Nana Addo will beat Alan Kyeremateng in any NPP internal elections if they decide to contest for a particular postion within the party. Flagbearership is no exception! That being said, I just can't fathom why you'll run down Alan Kyeremateng in public. REMEMBER, THE NAME KYEREMATENG WAS, MANY YEARS AGO, THE SOURCE OF YOUR INCOME!
Kwame, you were once a LABOURER at GHANA NATIONAL CULTURAL CENTRE. Now you know where I'm coming from. Please, stop impugning the reputation of Alan Kyeremateng, for THE NAME KYEREMATENG WAS ONCE YOUR SOURCE OF INCOME, before you left for the U.S.
LONG ALIVE AFRICA! GOD BLESS GHANA!! FORWARD EVER!!!
Nana Hakim, RSW, was, in 1979, PFP Representative at SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK, OSU, Accra. In the same year, he was MANHYIA CONSTITUENCY Campaign Assistant to Dr. Safo Adu and Charles Amankwah.
