I just want to correct something you attributed to me, that the flood story was "stolen from the Kemetians". I implied no such thing. Actually, ancient Egyptian mythology or history doesn't contain a flood story. In short, they had no such belief or myth. The Gilgamesh Epic is of Sumerian origin, far older than the Bible. My ref. to Egypt was in connection to the classificatory systems of the world attributed to Manetho.
As for Egyptians worshipping Satan, I know that you are making such statements out of your supreme ignorance. So I know that you are not aware of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhneton being the first recorded in history to have come out with the concept of monotheism. For that debate later on, you can be pondering on the query whether unicorns existed before.
I urge you and others in your category to do yourselves some good and spare some of us the heartbreak we feel at the superstition and ignorance of fellow Africans by utilising the reading and comprehension skills you have acquired through your education doing a google search of some key names and terms in the article.
Search for the Gilgamesh Epic, Manetho, Bernal Martin's Black Athena and read as much as you could. You can't read all and know all even if you spent the next 3 months doing that! But I hope the little that you guys read open your eyes to the fact that there is more to the biblical and qu'ranic myths than you can know in your entire lives.

I think we should encourage people who are bold enough to question the authenticity of historical accounts as Andy K has done. That is just it! The stories in the Bible are just myths that have had their useful purposes. They are not truths. Every people has had their myths.
Science is now uncovering many truths gradually and these trump myths, whether they are in the Bible or Quran, at all times.
The best thing about science is that it lays no claimS to ABSOLUTE TRUTH! Science revises its findings and theories ALL THE TIME. What we know today will not necessarily be what we know tomorrow. It is on Religion that claims we know the truth already and need not search any further - or search only within the confines of the so called known truth.
Revealed religion can NEVER trump tried and tested scientific methods.

Concerning the curse Noah pronounced on Ham's son, Canaan, the Bible does not give any link between Canaan and the Black race. The Bible does not indicate the skin colour of Ham who did wrong in the sight of Noah. The Bible is clear about who the descendants of Canaan are: these are the Canaanites whose lands God gave to the Jews to possess.
The Bible is a book that even the Devil attimes uses to justify his wickedness. It was in this light that some people used Canaan's curse, to be servant of his uncles, to justify apartheid. The doctrine that the Black race is cursed is not from the Bible. God has not cursed or blessed any race more than others.
There are many other curses in the Bible from which we can draw comparison. For instance, in Gen 49:3, Jacob pronounced a curse on his first son Reuben for defiling his father's bed. Despite this curse, Reuben and his descendants maintained their inheritance as one of the 12 tribes of Israel.
At any rate by sin, all the human race come under God's own curse- death. But in Jesus all the sin of the world has been wiped out. What is left is for us to believe.
