They same seems to be the case for Mahama. There are some in NDC--who saw Mahama as weak and easily controlled to "pillage" the resources of Ghana. Day by day, the numerous scandals are drowning Mahama's presidency. Mahama seems disabled with no power to make any corrective action. His cronies and so-called "kingmakers" are the ones actively engaging in the stealing of state resources. Mahama himself seems tainted by the spate of corruption.

This Micahel Bokor is so tribalistic that he sees any Akan as an enemy while any criminal from his tribe is a national hero. This will not help Ghana. He sees Kuffour as corrupt but Rawlings who stole our money to build mansions, sold state enterprises to his wife and cronies and murdered innocent Ghanaians especially Akans and seized their properties and money, as a hero. How about Tshikata and the dzelokope mafia? How about what his tribesmen in P/NDC hane done and continue to do to destroy Ghana completely? Ghanaians shall no remain fools and cowards forever. Good piece, but the inherent bias by citing Kufour in this category does not meet objectivity checks. How can you mention 'walking contradictions' and fail to mention JJ Rawlings, who ruled Ghana for 19 years (11 of those years as a military dictator), had his children educated abroad by friends yet unknown? Where did he go with the probity and accountability slogan, repeatedly mentioned on campaign platforms, when his wife exploited her position to buy a state enterprise under the guise of an NGO? One would have thought that you would have mentioned JJ alongside Kufour, and one would have analysed how the latter's examples of improprieties pale into insignificance when compared with your hero JJ and his cohorts. What happened to Ghana DIC and the sale of GIHOC entities?
In modern Africa's political history, how can you, Dr.Borkor, fail to do justice to JJ's role, full of contradictions of gargantuan proportions? Otherwise, I agree with whatever you said about Jacob Zuma, whose does the image of Africa more damage than good. His lust for women is the only vision he holds and wears around his waist, under the guise of tradition. What a joke of a leader.

African leaders have been thieves through and through, with very few exceptions like Kenneth Kaunda, Julius Nyerere and Ben Bella, over the past sixty years!

Hypocrite Bokor, you don’t need to travel so far to South Africa to find an example a veritable, “greedy bastard.” The founder of your party extorted the late President Mills to build him a Presidential palace while owning a mansion at Adjiriganor in Accra, and elsewhere in the Volta Region. In in addition to the lands he himself has publicly declared to be his in the Cantoments area of Accra. His wife was also paid US $5 million as “judgment debt” and two state factories were also handed over to her. We learn from Mr Woyome that he paid US 500,000 (half a million dollars!) out of his NDC government-engineered “judgment debt booty” in spite of having no contract with GOG and doing absolutely no work whatsoever for the government. Internationally, it was also revealed in a court in Norway that bribes were paid to Rawlings through P.V. Obeng and through Konadu Rawlings’ Swiss bank account. No need to talk about the rapist Jacob Zuma’s profligate. We have seen the same being done right here in Ghana. What’s all the more galling is that Rawlings, with an estimated worth of US$ 50 million, cannot buy his own air ticket travels for his private visits and greedily requires use of the Presidential jet, never mind, the cost of fuel and pilot pay.
