Yours is an interesting encounter. It is a great pity how people condemn, vilify and openly disregard and insult others they don't really know. I do not know, nor have I ever met Goland Agambire. All I know about him is from what I have read of his CV and the various stories I read about him (including the numerous awards and contracts his companies continue to win not just in Ghana, but across the Africa region; the difference they are making in the lives of young people, again across West Africa at least; and the bad press reported and involving his companies e.g. stories around GYEEDA, SADA etc).
I would like to listen to a real life interview and rather hope one of these days CNN's African Voices will beam their radar on him.
From those who know him, he seems to have been industrious all his life, including when he was a student in Navrongo School, many years after my batch had left the School. I would like to meet him and engage in a probing interview, no stone left unturned and get some candida nswers too. I consider you really fortunate to have met this interesting and ambitious yet (by all accounts from your story) down to l=earht and humble guy.
Interesting indeed!!

How dare this common thief quote Kwame Nkrumah to cover up his nefarious criminal activities that has consistently undermined the principled development of our once great country.
Again it must be stated loudly and clearly that Agambire is nowhere near the likes of UT, Fidelity etc. He is universally rather known to be in the corner where Woyome, Betty Mould-Iddrissu, Ataa Ayi and the likes are.
All right-thinking Ghanaians with eyes to see and ears to hear, know how and where the initiators of the UTs, the Fidelities and other relatively decent entrepreneurs, came from and how they got to where they are now. Nobody to date seems to know how and where Agambire got his money from - well, apart from the millions that the current govt generously finds reason to stash into his accounts.
Even this cheap PR job by some road-side writer named Akuaku, only managed to raise more questions than answers by his screaming failure to effectively clean Agambire up.
Agambire may find solace in the bosom of Nigerians, the apprentice CEOs that are badly running and obviously destroying the image of the Ghana Investments promotion Center and not least of all, the current hopelessly inept govt by the kind of glowing tributes and credits that they pour on him and others like him.
I really feel some amount of pity for this Agambire guy for being so naive and simple-minded as to think that he can take Ghanaians for a ride in the same way that our politicians are doing.

It seems the like of you have nothing bettr doing that to track my every comment or contribution on ghanaweb to insinuate and accuse me of nothing but cheap pap!!!
My comments are neither a 'support' nor a condemnation but an observation based on the writer's story.
Why can't people learn to give honest and straigfhtforward opinions without being accused of one thing or another or being hounded by good-for-nothing ninconpoops like you Kwadwo? Stop this nonsense and make a more tangible and meaningful contribution.
And for the umpteenth time and for your information (in your brainless skull), I have NEVER, and DO NOT have ANYTHING whatsoedver to do with the NDC or anyone else!! My writings, contributions to discussions and comments are purely and solely mine and I say it as I see it, do it not for anyone or group but will never shy away from giving an honest opinion on matters of contemporary interest and importance and you will not succeed in stopping me from doing that.
You and your ilk had better get used to that and know that I don't take any crap from people like you who ONLY see things in a "PARTISAN WAY" or No Way. Kwaseasem akwakwa!!!

This PR article for Agambire will not wash. Why is that other entrepreneurs like Kofi Amoabeng of the UT Group, Kofi Amoah of Citizen Kofi, Kwame Despite of Peacefm, Asumah Banda of Antrak frame, Kwame Ofosu Bamfo of Sikkens and Alisha Hotel, etc, etc have not been subjected to public villification. They have not colluded with crooked politicians to steal the people's money. The sad thing about Agambire is that coming from the North and knowing and experiencing the poverty up there, he teams up with politicians to steal SADA money on dubious guinea fowl and afforestation projects.

A businessman my foot. We all knw how he is making his "dirty" money. His businesses the embodiment of the "CREATE, LOOT and SHARE" scheme instituted by Mills/Mahamah. We're not that guillible and stupid. We're not against anybody making money in the right way. We're against any "crookish corrupt criminal thief" enriching hinself at our expense with little or no work done period with impunity. Did we get value for our money for all the government contracts his businesses were involved? What did we get for the GHC100,000,000.00 for the computers? Did we get anything for the GHC15,000,000.00 for the Akomfem project? The least said about the GHC32,000,000.00 tree project the better. Where is our GHC5,000,000.00 interest free loan? What did we get from the bogus GHC1,000,000,000.00 criminal corrupt st1nky fishy GYEEDA scheme? Why is that every contract his businesses are involved payments are on time or even paid in advance? Contactors who do government works and not paid more than three, five years or more are they not Ghanaians? Why is that this guy's businesses are involved in almost every st1nky fishy government schemes? Why is that most of his dealings with the government are shrouded in st1nky sole sourcing deals? Colud you please answer me because I may be wrong. I'm juxt venting my frustration. I see him as a major part of our corruption problem rather than the solution. My friend you maybe his "numbre uno psyocophant but I'm not impressed BECAUSE i'M NOT THAT GULLIBLE. Is he the center of the universe? Why is he in the middle of most shitty alleged "quid pro quo" deals?

Thanks for your response to my comment. We both live abroad and I believe we have had the experience of meeting genuine business moguls. Agambire, in my book, is not one of them. If you are proud of what he did to SADA in the Northern region, then I don't have anything to say to you. I remember meeting a principled European headmaster of Navrongo Secondary when we stayed there for a regional sports festival in the late 1970s. It was in December and was very dry. He was hard working and made sure that the events went on smoothly. I saw him supply water to the dorms with a farm tractor. I will never forget him. Given what happened to SADA, I doubt if that Headmaster will be proud of Agambire.
