But my problem was i was doing everything my self. I could continue after i got pregnant so i stopped and am now unemployed after delivery.

I started 11 companies in my life, went bankrupt with one of them and came back within 3 years. I started working in Ghana in 2006 for 20 Ghc a day.

Today, I support my family we can afford on a holiday abroad and have started (small small) in real-estate.
I never took a loan and made it by working from 7 to 5 six days a week.
Problem with a lots of other Ghanaian's, we dream TOO BIG, work TOO LITTLE, and are thinking too much about hitting the jackpot once instead of working hard to build your future.

That is the spirit. Being in business is not an easy task. Willingness to start on a small scale and learn from mistakes is the key.

What one needs also is the support group that you can consult. As you have rightfully said it is a lot of hard work and sleepless nights . The worst part is when the people around you are negative and want quick results. Next ... read full comment

The worst part is when the people around you are negative and want quick results. Next time tell them about the Fate of Dunlop the developer of vehicles tires in the process of vulcanizing and how he ended up familiy less and home less . It is not easy but can be rewarding. That i guess is why most people are not keen on being entrepreneurs and pay lip service to it
