Ghana is in a very sorry state under people who pretend they want to help the poor people of this country thru politics, but only to turn around and steal from the coffers of the country. Stealing is stealing! If K . T Hammond is a thief what stops the police from prosecuting him, so is gyeeda, subah info solutions ,wayome, waterville, nkonfem and any other plain stealing deals under both NPP&Ndc. If we continue like this where we rather praise and boast of leaders who are nothing but thieves, what money will be left in the national coffers for us to use to provide good drinking water for our people, build roads, buy chalk and books for public schools, build hospitals etc that good leadership brings to reduce the burden of especially the poor and helpless in the society.

Any well meaning head of state with the interest of the nation at heart would have said something to clear the air about the controversial disposal of such a valuable national asset.
Indeed it is shocking that no concrete irrefutable documentation has so far been produced by any of the relevant state organs, ministries, departments that have something to with the management of state assets, finances, financial transactions etc etc
And more flabbergasting is the silence of ex-President Kuffuor and Akuffo Addo, then attorney general...why are they not forthcoming with cogent information about the drill ship palaver...????

NPP Disillusion, i equally find it extremely difficult to understand why no state Institution/Department could not produce any documentation at the Judgement Commission, yet an individual in the person of Kweku Baako has got every document there is, whether genuine/fake to boast around without being invited by the Sole Commissioner is beyond belief. Is Kweku Baako powerful than the State or playing the role of a double agent in order to facilitate and cover for those involved in creaming off Ghana's valuable resources? Thank you.

Take him to Court if you are sure of what you are saying, a thief is a thief. Fortunately, you are in Government unless you are only using the story to score political points and there are no substance in it.

Hello Mawunyo, please my question is whether it is acceptable and possible that an Out of Court Settlement could be reached between two(2) parties after a Judgement has been ruled? The reason why i asked this question is we were told that GNPC owed Societe Generale $47m. If Judgement was ruled in favour of Societe Generale already, could Ghana for that GNPC go behind the Court's ruling and settled out of court on a lower amount of $19.5m? And who benefits from this? I'm yet to know, please somebody help me. Thank you.

This drillship sale saga would be really funny if it were not for the damage to principled people and their reputation. In one corner we have an NDC party that cannot find an articulate spokesperson with a grasp on reality and skills of logical thought processes to give answers to question from the public. In the other corner, of course in an NPP party that has accorded unto itself the "party of Ghana's intellectuals" without merit. In the meantime the two classroom educated but intellectually inferior bunch have managed to use lies and lack of common sense to make people believe heaven is in the Ashanti and or Eastern regions of Ghana for NPP zealots and or in the remaining regions for the NDC clowns hence NPP or NDC foot soldiers willing to die for the cause. Since when did Kwaku Baako become Ghana's designated archives manager to have had a copy of any document relative to this Drill ship saga? Would the NPP, especially Kufour and or KT Hammond give an important receipt to Kwaku Baako a man without credibility?
Why then are people apt to believe the crap that is coming from Kwaku Baako as the gospel truth? If Kufour and Nana Akufo-Addo were willing to send Tsikata to prison for causing financial loss to the nation would it not be their duty to come out and explain the sale and whereabouts of the proceeds associated with the sale? These are people who have never been shy making illogical remarks about NDC and their incompetent acts; why would this be any different? And for those who believe the sale , the proceeds and the disbursement of proceeds were above board I say let your receipts and banks statements do the talking now and stop defending lies with new lies. Kufour can volunteer to tell the nation the truth; he is used to collecting meaningless awards to make his fans proud. I dare Kufour, Nana Akufo-Addo, KT Hammond and Kwaku Baako to shit or get off the pot with their lies.

It looks like the NPP don't know the defination of corruption. If an individual could sell a national asset and pocket the money, the NPP think that is OK. No wrong has been done.Fire will burn them all.
