    60% of the funds to be used to pay compensation,which foreign creditor would give such a loan?Most often it is the local components which are used to finance compensation,which I am sure is not even up to 30% of the cost.

    the govt has not taken into consideration what will happen to areas where these roads will be leading to, places like Kingsway way Junction,UTC,Makola and Danquah circle

    Ghana indeed needs a new capital. Let's not throw good money over Accra that has become a big filthy slum, the way every foreigner who visits the city describes it.

    Please, note that Atebubu is in the BA. It will be a good place for a new capital but a new capital should really mean new, not the transformation of an old town. The new capital can be planned for a place that is a village o ...

    The Circle project should go ahead because it is far advanced. But the idea of a new capital is a good one. We should start thinking of it NOW and plan for it to happen in 20 to 30 years time, not in a hurry.
