I am disappointed that a Managing Editor of a newspaper is asking for the dismissal of Afari-Gyan as the Electoral Commissioner. He ought to have known better that the President has no powers to dismiss the EC without very good reasons. The head of the EC and I believe in Deputy are protected under the constitution.
I am also disappointed by this article because the writer is only making allegations but he claims they are fact/s ("We dare him to come out and challenge our statement of fact!") What evidence is contained in this article that is fact? You could have published whatever fact you have to support your allegations and until you do that, these will remain mere allegations.
Is this not the same person who made the allegations against the Asantehene? Has he been able to provide any evidence to support the allegation? He may be alleging something credible but until he provides the evidence, I will not take him serious, even if I am of the view that Afari-Gyan should resign.
