My brother, you are misrepresenting facts and issues concerning tbis organization. Why are you cast8ng doubts on people or institutions which do not work in the favour of this great party. This institution has continously been on al the parties during the campaign for the 2012 elections. It simply indicates that you did not follow the last electioneering language monitoring.

WHAT HAS THIS USELESS BODY CONTRIBUTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA?
THEY SEEM TO FORGET THAT NPP IS IN OPPOSITION AND ARE LIKELY TO BE MORE ON THE ATTACK THAN THE NDC, HARDLY A PROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT.

Nana Yaw Sarpong, you have every right to challenge the conclusion contained in the report of the Media Foundation for West African (MFWA) if you believe that it's reports are biased against NPP. Though you are challenging the last report, you also failed to provide any verifiable or credible evidence to discredit MFWA's report. What I expected from you was among others, what action/s either you or NPP has taken to verify or discredit the report. For example, you could have contacted MFWA for a copy of its report to get the details of media houses they monitored during the period under consideration, the specific programmes in question, the names of individuals who represented or purported to have represented NPP and what they said that constituted bad language or abuse vis-à-vis the language of all those who represented other political parties on the same programmes for your analysis. Unless you or the your party is able to conduct such a review as the basis of your challenge, your views of bias against NPP will remain mere perception or speculation and not reality.
You cannot use the political or ideological opinions of the leadership or workers of MFWA as the sole basis of your claims of bias against NPP, though that could influence or introduce bias into their report. Again, you did not indicate if you have been able to monitor such media programmes in Ghana from your base in London (through the Internet). This is also a weakness in your challenge and conclusion that MFWA is bias against NPP. My suggestion is that either you or NPP should do more than just accusing MFWA as being bias if you really want to challenge the validity of their methodology, analysis and the conclusions they draw in its reports on media monitoring in Ghana.
