Wrong timing! We need encouragement, confidence building, no negativeness at this crucial moment. We have war on our hands and we need you to support Nyantakyi, AA, and the Black Stars, that is what responsible citizens should do. When the stakes are high, our Black Stars usually rise to the occasion not because they have the best players in the world, but simply because of their confidence and determination. We Play important matches in Kumasi because they speak with one voice under their "king", they would surly cheer the Stars to victory.

Should Nyantakyi be the person who is to select players for clubs in Ghana?
Fatau has been on bench for the whole of this football season yet people think he's better than an active keeper.
Even when Fatau is at his best he could never be compare with Kingston.Let us wait and see the outcome on Tuesday.

I agree with you on both issues. Prince Boateng's wicked toying with us should be stopped once and for all. If we qualify for the World Cup, the sonofabitch should never be allowed to return to the team. He is insulting our intelligence. You see, "if you suddenly becomes sick, you suddenly die". that's what the saying goes. He thinks he is SLICK, and taking us for a ride. We all know this man lied to us about reasons for retiring from the Black Stars. The reason? He couldn't coordinate the dual services he renders to Club and National team. It is too much for him. What about now? Doesn't he still have club duties, but has agreed to play for National team? How is this about turn came about? The answer is very simple. THE WORLD CUP. He wants to eat his cake and have it. NYANTAKYI and AKWASI APPIAH should drop this sonofabitch from the National Team. We don't want him, we don't need him.

There are more than 25 million coaches in Ghana considering the foreigners too. I am personally happy and proud that Mr. Writer you are not the coach of the Black Stars.

Dr Nkrumah married Fatia to show the way. So shall it always be.
Egypt must know that she is Ghana's wife.
Egypt will sleep under Ghana come next Tuesday and her husband will impregnate her with many babies (GOALS).

This question of foreign based and home based is moot. Much as the home based guys should be groomed we need to accept the fact that all current home based have three quarters of their eyes on big leagues and BIG MONEY. So it should surprise no one that most of our talented players are plying their trades abroad.

I totally enjoyed reading this piece until I got to the last paragraph.."Akwasi Appiah's failure to search hard for the talents out there.....".How hard do you think he should have searched? Don't you think he has been doing his utmost best to get the best available set of players for this match? You don't love Ghana any more than he does and I think he should be commended for what he has done so far.
And with Nyantakyis(he has taken us to 2 successive World Cups) failure to build a league that will grow home based talents(all these foreign based players left when he was GFA boss)....Our local talents are still local because no foreign teams have come beckoning. Once they see a foreign contract, our league is history. How is that Nyantakyis fault. Yes he has his faults, but this is not one of them.

I wish you listened to a BBC report this morning and last night about what happened in Addis Ababa two hours before the Nigeria-Ethiopia match. If anybopdy has a contact with Kwesi nyantakyi, please join me in insisting that OUR RETURN LEG MUST NEVER! I REPEAT, NEVER BE PLAYED IN EGYPT! WE MAY LOSE OUR WORLD CUP TEAM IN A TERRORIST BOMBING. The Al Shabab terrorists had made an elaborate plan to bomb the stadium and had actually nearly carried out the deadly plan. It could have led to the deaths of soccer fans and most of the teams of Nigeria and Ethiopia!. What a terrible thing to plan, but terrorists do not care who dies. Just two hours before the planned bombing, and by the grace of God, the two young but 'deadlily-armed' suicide bombers making their way into the stadiummade a mistake of their lives. Whatever happened, their bombs went of before they reached their obvious target. God is full of love otherwise what would have happened would have destroyed the freedom of soccer on this continent.Egypt is in a turmoil. The Muslim Brotherhood will do the same if we ever try to play in that country. We are all aware that only one of the Efgyptian team [Aboutrika] is a famous member or sympathiser of the BROTHERHOOD. tHE REST ARE NOT. sO THE TERRORISTS OF eGYPS MAY DO SAME WITH OUR MATCH, AND WHERE WILL WE BE WITH OUR WORLD CUP ASPIRATIONS?We must in the same way be watchful of the return Ethiopia-Nigeria match, which I suggest should be played in a neutral country like Ghana or anywhere. My beloved soccer-loving Ghanaian. Please, get this message across to Kwesi nyantakyi and the GFA before we lose our beloved Black Stars.Amen. Tell this to the whole world.

The Football League in Ghana is not the responsibility of GFA so to blame Nyantekyi for the poor state of the League is to place the blame in the wrong place.

What of this "Monkey dey work" issue? Why bring in Sammy Adjei and Laryea Kingston? Sammy Adjei was at the World Cup 2006, but had to play second fiddle to Richard Kingston, and I believe all Ghanaians agreed with that choice if you consider the exploits of Olele.
Now Laryea, what did the GFA do wrong? Laryea played in the cup of Nations and received a red card that made him ineligible to play in the world cup group stages, so why blame the FA?
Please, if you want us to believe you are a columnist then please write something worthwhile reading.

I don't think the black stars should play the 2nd leg if nothing is done about the location. Fifa would only give Egypt 3 goals and we would still go to Bzl.....GFA think very carefully for the players safty.
