Akans in Ghana are NOT living in fear of anybody. Akans in Ghana are in no way beggars. They are the captains of industry and commerce in Ghana. Akans are not guests of anybody in Ghana. They even control much of the land in Accra where the Gas have become their guests. The mere fact that Akans are the single largest ethnic group in Ghana gives them a strength that other ethnic groups don't have. They are not rudderless. They are not strangers. Twi is now being spoken by many Ghanaians. There are more Akans in government, civil and public services than any other ethnic group in Ghana.
The brutal murder of the three judges was regretted and mourned by every Ghanaian except the coterie of people who, in their drunken and misguided mode, committed the dastardly acts. I think the perpetrators themselves regretted their actions (or are living the regret). Nobody, no tribe in Ghana, rejoiced over that deed. If you think the true perpetrators are still alive, they will one day be exposed for, murder will out by all means. And if you have the proof, Okoampa, go to Ghana and fight to expedite the process of bringing those people to justice.
But don't come and tell us that Akans are being tortured in Ghana. That is a big lie.

I have been following the writings of this Okoampa guy and I always find them in very terrible taste. His writings smack of divisionism and he is demented to the extent of thinking that his ethnic group is the super one in Ghana. That definitely cannot come from a real scholar. People are bad not because they are of any particular ethnic group but that is what they are personally of physinomically . At this level of our national growth, we do not need such puerile and indeed poisonous writings of this nature are they risk misdirecting some of our less intelligent folks. I am definitely not an Akan but my spouse is. I will be a very deranged person of I should hate the tribesmen of my children's mum. Cross marriages and indeed inter ethnic marriages have diluted this whole concept of puritanistic tribal sentiments. We are related to one tribe or the other. My genealogy runs through six ethnic groups, gonna, Gonja, Akuapem, Ga, Nzema and Ewe. Akuapems are part of the Iget ethic Akan group. Will it make any sense for me to incite my present direct ethic group, the Ewe against any of these four ethic group which form part of my genealogy. That will be utmost insanity. Okoampa, please give is some peace whilst you live in your comfort zone in the Unied States. Please!!!!!

I have been following the writings of this Okoampa guy and I always find them in very terrible taste. His writings smack of divisionism and he is demented to the extent of thinking that his ethnic group is the super one in Ghana. That definitely cannot come from a real scholar.
