    It is a fact that Japanese banks charge .5% on loans and the same apply to China. India banks charge 6% on loans. From the above Ghanaian banks a greedy and what Fifi Kotey said is not far from the truth.

    What I am trying to explain in my piece is the cause and effect of government action. They do not directly charge the so called greedy rates, but due to their actions the banks are taking the blame for it.
