You expect the players to believe they can win. Yet all we have been doing is demonizing the man who made it possible for us to win with 1 goal. I'm glad Olele is back (Old or young, all i know is he's back)

  • Papa Appiah 10 years ago

I really think a few points are being missed here
1.Olele has played four competitive matches in 2 years
    2. He may be fit to play in Cyprus, but crucial worls cup game?
    3. You dont bring a semi-retired professional simply ...

interesting write up, but your premise makes it appear as if ghana is the underdog. its the egyptians rather who are the underdogs. they are the ones who need to believe they can beat a formidable team as the blackstars with ...

Chris I disagree with your point on kwaresey. Kwaresay like KPB suffers from the African Hard field and heat syndrom. They both fail to impress on African soil. Kwaresays last excellent performance for the stars was against B ...

We need Wakaso and Warris in the team, they play hard and fast, that is what we need to overpower the Pharaohs.

  • Anokwale 10 years ago

These are two necessary players. We need young energetic players who are ready to fight for 90 minutes. No matter what happens we want to see good energy on the field.

  • J. O. 10 years ago

YOU are right Kofi, that Wakaso and Warris should play but when you have veterans lkie mutari, Dede Ayew and Kwadwo Asamoa around selection becomes a problem.

  • Anokwale 10 years ago

The write up was well thought out but I am not a fan of the formation and on my team, Essien and Adomah come in off the bench if needed. I come for the camp that believes that Wakasso must be on the field and that Essien is ...

I enjoy the selection but akwesi would be in best position to select.

  • Kwame 10 years ago

Quite brilliant. But Warris will be a good pairing with Gyan for a more effective attack, even he plays in "the hole" as u put it. In that case Andrew Ayew plays on the right does the cutting in or puts in the crosses.

With the injuries and suspensions, Ghana main problem will be the defence. However, Baba Rahman is a good defender who should be part of the defence setup. The midfield and strikers are worldclass.
