If you rear a monster and it cannot get its wild game, it will turn to devour you. Nana created a mindset to destroy the NDC and since that has failed the energy in motion has to destroy the NPP. Nana believes in using unfair methods to win a contest. Now he is rigging the NPP internal contest.

Otherwise, we cannot advance or make progress. For NPP, Dr Wereko-Brobey, Dr Nyaho, Nyaho -Tamakloe, Npiani, Dr Arthur Kennedy and co made their honest and intelligent comments for the progress of NPP. Unfortunately were seen by the unintelligent and the irresponsible in the party as traitors

That's what is happening in the NPP. They are not prepared to let a non Ashanti lead the party. That's why there is a problem. We were all in this country when Kufour became president. All we could hear was that when their Ashanti man was given the chance as flagbearer, he won it easy. No wonder Kufour wanted Alan Cash on the scene.1, was to help protect his corrupt past, and 2, to maintain an Ashanti dominance in the party. As sgt Fiadzoe put it, the Ghanaian hypocrisy is fully on display as we all know that the Ashantis fear that Akuffo-Addo's chief will have equal status as the Asantehene with that Primus inter pares (first among equals)bullshit. We all respect our chiefs. If any other people were to give their chief a diplomatic passport for overseas trips, these Ashantis will scream all over Ghana!! We must sometimes read history to know more about our past.When it comes to modern politics we should be a bit objective.Npp is not an Ashanti/Akyem party because their membership is cut across the country.Then again,the first political party,UGCC was not founded by Ashantis either.The Ashantis were even not part of Gold Coast Colony,likewise the Northern Territories and the Trans British Togoland known as Volta Region today.
The UGCC was founded at Saltpond.There were freedom fighters like Caseley Hayford,Mensah Sarbah and others before J.B.Danquah and Busia.All these political activists were not Ashantis until George Grant sent Ako Adjei to go and bring in Kwame Nkrumah.The rupture was inevitable because the leaders of UGCC were all bigmen from royal bacground,well educated and businessmen tycoons.I can tell you,Kwame Nkrumah was the poorest amongst the leaders.Fortunately for Kwame Nkrumah,he has an exceptional capacity for mobilisation especially on the labour front.The UGCC was depending on the Chieftaincy to achieve their objectives.When Kwame Nkrumah broke away with some of the UGCC members to form CPP,he used the workers to fight for Independence with the support of some few chiefs. The working class were ofcourse in majority that is why Kwame Nkrumah won all the élections.Today Npp is treading on the same path as J.B.Danquah and Busia,using only the educated and rich businessmen to win power.The Ashantis and Akyems have dominated the NPP because they have lobbyists who are always working to make sure the tradition of using prominent people continues.Kuffour as very a intelligent leader smoked the peace pipe with CPP which gave him the massive support he needed to win the 2000 but he quickly turned around to the path of tradition.Kuffour almost lost the 2004 élections but did not change his old ways.Finally,it fell badly on Nana Addo in 2008.Npp will have to deal with this old tradition and find new strategy to win élections.You can see that it's no about tribalism but old tradition and modern technics.Thank you.

To your perhaps blindness, Kufuor had mainly Asante/Akyems around him and marginalised others from the remaining 8 regions. Say it again. Did you say that NPP mobilised the rich and educated to win power?. You are totally wrong!. Either you don't know the true profile of most of the people around Kufuor or you are naïve and still in the dark. I can tell you that most of the so called big men in NPP are imposters, corrupt, lawless and charlatans and looters at the expense of the citizens they proclaim to serve. Check it out and you would realise that most of them have fake qualifications!!!. As you stated, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah appealed to all Ghanaians from all the regions. All workers from whatever background, Makorla, kaya yei, farmers, fishermen etc. Even if it is a perception,ask yourself why is it that the Ghanaian and indeed, the rest of the world do not see NDC, PPP, CPP as TRIBALISTIC?.
Jake and his leadership might have shown unproductive performance but Akufo Addo, in fact, has done worse!. The all 'die be die', 'yen akan fo' mantra honestly, did a real damage. The lawlessness, the irresponsible behaviour, the lies, fabrication of stories against political opponents and individual citizens who expressed different views appears to be the hall marks of NPP. How could an influential member of the party appeal to the party supporters to kill their fellow citizens, Gas and Ewes and the party generals and commanders just watched and smiled? How do you expect these groups, Gas and Ewes, who are Ghanaians and have friends, relatives and family members and colleagues in every region in Ghana to vote freely for you without the influenced by the irresponsible appeal to kill?.
Unless NPP could realise that Ghana is made up of citizens in 10 regions, all of different social and tribal identities and choose a leader who is appealing to both the party and in particular, to the Ghanaian voters NPP would remain in the backyard of Ghanaian politics. NPP needs a leader who would be able to bring orderliness, discipline and respect to the party, NPP would continue to struggle to gain power. Unless NPP got rid of the filthy and the money and property looting and for the boys which, continue to have bad taste in the mouths of many Ghanaians, NPP would continue to see the history of NLM, UP,PP REPEATING themselves.

What you need in the NPP is to have the cool heads and balanced one-nation individuals come together and form a strong force for positive change. You now win only two regions outright. Does that not tell you that you are losing the one-nation argument?
You failed to address that question but i agree with you it starts with thee leadership. I hope you can gather a critical mass in your party to advance these arguments, bring in new, broad-based and broad-minded leadership which is more open-minded and whose philosophy appeals to a much broader constituency.
you also need to repair the very damaged image of your party in the eyes of many a neutral Ghanaian (the 20% you referred to). This is particularly important if you want to win power and be taken more seriously as a national party.
As to your point about your party being "the most democratic in Ghana and perhaps the whole of Africa", such self-appointed boasting and claims do not help you. Desist from such and allow others to confer such accolades if they are deserved.
I sincerely hope you are able to help your party improve and move forward for the sake of our democracy. This is my free advice.

He even said in one of his articles around the 2012 election time that people from northern Ghana are alliens, dirty and stink. In fact Katakyie is one of the NPP writers who cause the lost of NPP votes in non-akan communities.Katakyie is the exact opposite of the broad-based, broad-minded and open-minded philosophy you are advising.
