For as long as we have a colonialists education system that makes us believe from our formative years from nursery school.........that we are POOR and continually believe so, in our adulthood. Then, I'm afraid we would not be begging for silver but, for toxic waste to survive on!
If you are brainwashed through your so-called education system to grow to believe that you are POOR.....you will FOREVER remain POOR even though you are 'living' and 'sleeping' on GOLD, BAUXITE, ALUMINIUM, DIAMOND, COCOA, TIMBER, CASHEW, SHEA BUTTER, IRON ORE, COPPER, COPRA and now OIL............
In addition to the belief of being POOR,.....the lingo also makes us feel very inferior to the 'obroni' or nay human with a skin lighter than ours.
It has made us embrace other peoples' cultures and traditions......and have discarded OURS!!! WHAT A SHAME!
That is why we always take pride in being hospitable to foreigners and hate OUR OWN.............
Tribalism is now the order of the day in modern Ghana, with the gutter party politics of both the NDC and NPP.
We need to create OUR OWN education system that reflects OUR HERITAGE and takes PRIDE in who we are. And that, which emancipates OUR MINDS from MENTAL SLAVERY FOR GOOD!!!!
GOD BLESS GHANA!
AFRICAN FOREVER!
