There is no such thing as "full blooded" Asante. Asante is an unified Akan state and not a tribe. You can only say full blooded Akan of the Oyoko, Breuto, Asona, Ekoana clan etc. Any Oyoko/Adako royal qualifies to be enstooled as Asantehene. Kwaku Dua as a full blooded Oyoko royal is qualified to be the custodian of the Golden Stool. We Akans belong to the maternal family of our mother. Secondly, Kwaku Dua his father is Nana Kwame Boakye-Dankwa.

It appears that this Asantehene' has underestimated the the might of the digital age. You cannot engage in henous activity - and use force to cover up in this day and age. He forgets that info can be disseminated in a matter of seconds. He still believes in the Stone Age, when powerful people could muscle up and cover up the truth. One silver linning about K. Dua: going forward, Ashants would be very careful and exercise proper due diligence before choosing a new leader. This one has been a disaster thus far.

Hiding behind monikers to asssinate the character folks have taken all their lives to build is not courageous. If we only suspect that one had erred, or broken the Law, we would be better off raising the issue up with decorum for discussion or investigation by the appropriate Entities.
Surely, our Democracy promises us the freedom of Speech. But we must all be wise enough to use that right judiciously. We must criticize when necessary. But the way we do it could either yield fruitful results or wreak havoc.

I will however comment here to show my disapproval of the manner he seeks today to pour cold water on the efforts of a great leader that the current Asantehene is gradually carving for himself in the last few years.
I must say that it is only confused, convoluted, sore losers and much to do about nothing characters like Addofo who will wrongly analyse the role that Asantehene has played to secure peace for Ghana.
What other role do we expect of a King of his stature to play in this modern world of governance other that his assumed role. Should he sit down unconcerned when people associated with his subjects beat war drums that could lead to the very existence of his subjects and his institution.
Adofo's wicked intentions and expectations which he has spent the last year propagating will fail when the chicken comes home to roost and the Great King who is gradually carving the Statemanship that is expected of our Kings and chiefs in this modern era of democracy will reign supreme.
Shame unto you, Adofo, and you must resign from you blinded thinking.

Wouldn't you have done the Throne some better deal by, first, writing to Manhyia or even the Asanteman Council to point out all the listed complaints you tabled?
And regarding, the Kumawu case, why not try the National House of Chiefs to seek an appeal, assuming you are armed with a better evidence that trumps whatever scanty facts you claim the Otumfuor might have ruled the case on?
I am afraid your presentation seems to be indicting the Otumfuor, impugning his character with a thinly veiled finality. I wonder how that helps to restore the dignity you bemoan to have been depreciated around the Golden Stool.
