    Who is this liar? Okomfo Anokye was originally an Ewe jujuman who hailed from Notsie in present Togo and settled in Akwapim and later moved to Ashanti. Thus the Ewes have a hand in building the Ashanti Kingdom.

    Komfo Anokye hailed from awugugua in Akwapim and that is what I believe and nothing else. So your story does not hold water. And why did the Ewes not tap into his resources and rather the Asantes?
