They are not ready to face any challenges at home under the pretext and excuse that the country is not good as if Europe and America was built for the white man by God.
We are a funny people.

Africans are NOT lazy, if anything, rather INTELLIGENT!!!
The GOLDEN RULE OF NATURE is SAFETY FIRST. Why should I live in a SOCIETY where 'WHO YOU KNOW' is what DEFINES your future??? Why should I a qualified doctor earn 60 million cedis a year when I can earn 80,000euros a year in Europe?
The list is endless. A nurse struggling to make ends meet, being sidelined into constantly buying used European clothes leaves Ghana to Europe or the United States and her life CHANGES OVERNIGHT!!!
Believe me, in the above places he/she can buy a BRAND NEW CAR within a year of employment. How many nurses in Ghana have cars let alone roofs over their heads??
ONLY A FOOL WILL NOT GRASP AT THE OPPORTUNIUTY TO LEAVE THAT STINKING BRIBE RIDDEN COUNTRY BEHIND.
WHERE DO YOUR MPs & MINISTERS GO FOR medical care??? Make a FOOL of yourself, be PATRIOTIC - you will spend your life visiting BEND DOWN BOUTIQUES whilst your so called leaders ENRICH themselves.

I agree with you. It costs more than $15,000 to get degree in American universities. The writer should do his or her homework. Please, I know what I am talking about. Resident fees cost more than $15,000 for social science students. Room, books, food, tuition, and other expenses for four to five year college education for undergraduate costs more than $15,000. In fact, a person that started in two year college and then go to four year college for bachelor's degree will pay more than $15,000 by the time he or she finishes the four year degree program. I am sure that there are many people on this board that will agree with me. Yes, some graduate students may get teaching or research assistant in graduate school but must work hard for the money. Yet, it costs more than $15,000 for college education. Thanks

For some unknown reasons Ghanaians make it hard for returning Ghanaians to succeed in their endeavors.
That mind set of hate will never take us nowhere. Working and helping one another will take us a long way.
Long live Ghana and Peace among Mankind. Together we can make a difference.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?

People like Mahama and Duncan Williams are the causes of brain drain. Blame them because they do not have nothing to offer to the youth aside from telling them lies.

Why would i want to live in a place where order, cleanliness, provision of basics like water/electricity and security are taken for granted?Ghanaians have refused to make their country a dreamland bcoz of our lazy culture. The Singaporeans and Malaysians have in one generation turned their places into other people's dreamlands and even outdone much of Europe bcoz they have the right values and culture.
Its true indeed that wealth turns a strange land into a homeland and poverty turns a native land into a strangeland. But alas, the chinese see opportunity where africans only see hopeleness and as the africans have left en mass the chinese trickle into africa is turning into a flood.Strange world isn't it?

Ghana policy makers in particular are jokers. People born in Ghana, pursued secondary or post-secondary schools in Ghana, but left for overseas have been slapped with impediments when they try to resettle in Ghana. The so called DUAL CITIZENSHIP programme is laced with nonsense and restrictions to creat a second class citizenship for that group. Countries like Israel used disporans to develop that country. Africans are our own worst enemies. Is it stupidity?

For every 100 masons, you need 10 for which you need 1 engineer. the same for every 100 nurses you need 10 head nurses and 1 doctor.
and we keep continue with a school system training engineers, doctors, lawyers etc. when do we change ?
