I am not surprised that the NPP yet again are crying foul. When I listen to or read what they say (that includes the brainy guys in the party and even the illeterate party followers/serial callers), it makes me wonder what planet they come from. Anything not in their favour is wrong or unacceptable. After accusing the EC now it is the Supreme Court that has stolen the verdict for NDC! The irregularity that would have cancelled the most votes and given the presidency to NPP, had it been granted (the duplicate serial numbers) was rejected 9-0! I am sure being human, there are some members of the panel of judges, who may be NPP sympathisers! My view of the petition is that they tried their luck on the basis of the fact that, the history of NDC/pndc/Rawlings, and the killing of the 3 judges in 1981 or 1982?, Akuffo-Addo thought, this may be an opportunity for the judiciary to have vengeance on NDC/pndc!

NPP will complain about anything so long as they are on the losing end. They will complain about the and the Justices instead of coming up with alternate policies , the real role of opposition. NPP simply STICKS

You raised very interesting questions regarding the rerun. Since NPP had boycotted activities of the EC since the presidential election, how could they have gone into the rerun with the same EC, especially with Afari-Gyan still in-charge?
Regrading Afari-Gyan's future, that will depend on whether he is criticised by the Justices in their written decisions or not. Yes, we are all waiting anxiously to read the written decisions and the reasons provided by each of the Justices on the various claims.

I bet to defer with the writer on the issue of the outcome of re-run. Firstly, the NPP in their folly had handpicked polling stations from NDC strongholds to have the votes annulled. Remember even the 4 justices who granted the claim of petitioners ordered a re-run on those polling stations that were affected by the so-called irregularities / violations/ omissions. Now that decision would have led to the second issue of the whole case; did those irregularities affect the outcome of the results as declared by the EC?

I do not agree with the Justices who ordered a re-run on some of the pleadings of NPP. First, I find their evidence that is the pink sheets in a complete disorder. Second, no witness was produced to corroborate on the alleged violations. On what basis did the judges accept their position and were calling for cancellation and a re-run of the elections?

They should have been thrown out as they did not include all areas. That was discrrminatory. Nana's winning polling stations should have been added to the whole show. That would have been fair

The first part of your comments would have been enough, but showing your true homophobic self, you went on to write things that did not advance the discourse worthy of any sane contributor. You see, I have lived here in the US long enough to know that some of the most rabid homophobes turned out to be ....... What are you hiding, Ekumfa?

What special relations has Kwaku Bonsam got with the Justice? At least we all know that he is not his father or Brother.

The answer to you million dollar question is certainly YES.
You are right that NPP should not have asked for votes to be annulled. In addition, NPP should never have sent the cases of duplicate serial numbers to court as that alone added about 10,000 pink sheets and made NPP case very unwieldy. That was also a maximalist approach the shot the case down.
