I care about who is going to get respect outside and attract real investment. The "old school" crowd is not appealing. Exactly what was he going to do. What is worse is that the Petition process took too long. In Kenya, they dealt with this situation in a week.

Do you know what the Asante area is? Asante consists of not only Asante region, but almost the whole of Bono-Ahafo region (formerly western Asante region), places in the Eastern Region like New Juaben (Koforidua), places in the Volta region like Worawora and many many other areas outside of the Asante region. Secondly, Nana Akufo Addo is not an Asona royal or Akyem-Abuakwa royal. He is an Oyoko royal (i.e. ruling clan of Asante). On the other hand Alan Kyeremanten is a blood relative of the Okyenhene, why? Alan is a royal of Ejisu in Asante, which belong to the Asona clan. The people of the Asona clan of Akyem-Abuakwa, Ejisu, Offinso etc. were all one people, which migrated from Adanse to their present places. Last, but not least Asante and Akyem are not tribes, but Akan states. Asante was founded as an union of people from many different localities with different historical backgrounds.

I read the speech published on Ghanaweb. In my opinion,(am not NPP),there was nothing wrong with the opinions expressed. Indeed, one can be disappointed and yet accept that which he is disappointed about. Last year, I was very disappointed when I did not get six ones in my SSS exams but I, nevertheless, accepted the result and made the best of it.
