I hope we can one day have a President from EWE land who is elected because of content of character and being a Ghanaian not because he/she is EWE.
Start education your folk to be pluralistic with their party affiliations and votes. In the northern regions we are PNC, NPP and NDC. We will always have influence in "any government in power". AGIP is the best policy for tribal minorities.

If the founders of the NPP consider Ewes as their political enemies rather than Rawlings and the NDC because of what the Rawlings regime had supposedly done to them, demonize them at every turn, insult them at every turn, and above all calling them Togolese whether their homelands are in Ghana or Togo then they have a good reason to avoid the NPP.
I dont see how any sane minded Ewe would vote for a party that Ken Agyapong will love to see exterminated relating to issues in GA that has nothing to do with the Ewes. A self declared apostle of the NPP Okoampa has openly called for the extermination of Ewes many times.
You see its the job of a political party to reach out to the electorate whatever it takes, its not the other way round. Im sure Ewes will support the NPP once they feel they are welcomed.
But for now I dont see how an Ewe who has no benefit from the Rawlings regime will be able to sit at the same NPP meeting with some one like Okoampa who will be openly calling for their extermination at the same time. It would just be like a Jew supporting Hitler and the NAZI party.
Its so sad that our politics has come this far but hopefully we will get over it one day.
