Useless lawyers and Judges. It s hard to believe that any well trained lawyer or Judge will believe that an ordinary act of parliament can be used to take away the constitutional guaranteed rights of citizens.

Ghana is a lawless country with leaders that are not leading anything except to rape a headless nation. Their institutions are make-believe, nothing but a front to dupe. Our embassies are extensions used to bait vulnerable citizenry into committing to a cause but in the end you waste your money and time. They are not working to represent Ghanaians in the diaspora. They are share holders in a scam. African politicians are like God and the laws to them are as powerful as the scripts in the Bible. If you do not challenge the good book of the lord who dare to question the credibility of the Ghanaian constitution and those who interpret the law? The parliament has become a den for the Mafioso.
Over 20000 Ghanaians the world over did apply for dual citizenship this past 4years. 90% of the applicants did not qualify according to the gospel of the new Ghana. We did all they asked us to do and paid all monies upfront and then things went cold. Now they say the lead man at the immigrations has been fired. Did they put him in jail? Has he been made to refund the money? Is the new boss going to sign those documents so people can get their particulars? If he embezzled the funds who were his accomplices and what punishment is metered out to them? Or are they laughing all the way to the bank? Why did we sit back for the worst kind to secure absolute dominance over our political landscape? I called to Denmark and I talked to a Ghanaian working at the embassy to inquire as to how soon I was going to obtain my dual citizenship card?(2010). His immediate response was “if you qualify, it takes only six months”. He definitely was onto something. I can swear a criminal like that is untouchable and he will continue to solicit his criminal enterprise, or is he only a pawn with benefits? Expect there are going to be new suckers (casualties) to fall victim to more tricks. They will indirectly or directly extort money from gullible Ghanaians. We have no other options, except go through them anyway. We have got our work cut out to us.

Full-blooded citizens are sabotaging this country daily with corrupt and other destructive practices. We need to have in place effective legal and administrative systems to safeguard our country. Culprits should be apprehended to face the law be they dual, single citizens or foreigners.
The use of deportation of naturalised people has been used as a political weapon, and shows a weakness or unwillingness of the system to deal with problems.
At the end of the day it is the prerogative of the people to decide what goes into the constitution, and what makes them feel good. That said, we should understand the real value or lack thereof of what is in the constitution.

The problem with the limitation placed on ghanaians with dual citizen is that its too broad in scope and consequently exclude a lot of talented citizen from helping to build a better nation.

Dual ctizens who are complaining about the scope of our law limiting the positions that they can fill in Ghana can as well take the necessary steps to fill those positions in their adoptive countries if they think they are competent enough to fill those positions and the law there grants them such a right and stop grinning about whether the Ghanaian legal position is good or not. I gues Prof Asare will gladly choose to be Chief Justice of America over being CJ in Ghana so he should be more concerned about that. No one eats his cake and still has it.

Nonsense, why are we so inward looking? That is why we are still going round in circles so many years after our so called independence. We should grow as a nation and stop comparing Ghana to USA!
