legacy of the pepeni and his murder of mills is nothing but sorrow, misery and poverty while he and his cronies boldly continue to loot the country. this is understandable since they are not Akans, they do not care as they know the wealth of the nation does not belong to them , its a take/steal money and run mentality that drives them. They have no solutions because they are too feeble minded and reality deep down they know its only by theft , trickery , election engineering /rigging , ideological lies and camouflage that they are there now and know it can not last . The national security is going round spreading the word they have the supreme court under control and have ensured the petition will not succeed , i guess they are able to blackmail the judges after all so there will be no justice . The national security has an interest to keep pepeni in place as there is not a single corruption act that goes on whereby they dont have a cut . they know if pepeni goes over 80% of them will be out of a job as thats the first place any true patriotic govt will clean up. we know all this will sooner or later lead to war and we are ready , long live the republic of Akan

No it didn't and I know you also did not make those mistakes but blaming Ghanaweb is a clear case of passing the buck. I don't know how you send your articles to the webmaster but I have written articles on my notepad and transferred it to my email site before sending them to Ghanaweb and from where you write your articles and transposing them to your email site is where these spacing problems occur and you should read through your articles before finally emailing them to avoid problems like this that have marred a very nice written article.

Thanks, Mr. Author. For the first time,I simply copied the article from my notebook Word to the email site. I went back to my Sent Email and the spacings were ok. My previous articles were sent as attachments and it often took two weeks, after reminders to Ghanaweb, to get them published. I will use my Mac next time instead of the PC and I hope that will work. Thanks a lot for your advice.

This is the problem of some little minded characters. This project as I understand it from you would be a joint venture. I would have expected you to give an intelligent social. environmental and economic argument about the proposed project than just writing such intellectually incomprehensible piece. Whatever principal or formula you subscribe to as your suggestion I would advise that always consider the environment in which you carry your project i.e level of education, attitude, civil responsibility, self-discipline, respect for the law, literacy, and on this occasion, maintenance and technical advancement etc. You cannot simply think that you can implant foreign/Western conditions or specifications in Ghana or Africa or put what works in Africa into the West, East or Asia and expect it to work. Oh, have you forgotten the language and political problems or difficulties which would be envisage by each nations e.g French or English speaking states?. You did not give any real reason(s) for blaming the president. A discussion like this must not be political but must search all departments concern.

as a people we are quick to jump to the defense of our leaders even if blatantly they are screwing us. challenges we can admit sometimes but the sheer brandishing of words we do not mean should not be encouraged and that has been the hallmark of most of our leaders.
that is why for so long everything seem to have gotten stucked in the "pipeline" . they just don't mean what they say.

Antobam, thanks for your write-up and forethought. It is sad that apart from the economic benefits of such a project, we have also not identified the conditions of our roads as the main cause of brutal accidents in Ghana. We prefer to blame such avoidable deaths and accidents on witches.
For those of you who are insulting the writer please grow up! Until we begin to believe in ourselves and think audaciously, we would not take the steps that we ought to take. Believing in ourselves should be espoused by our leadership. It is a fallacy if anyone says that it cannot be done. We need to go to countries like Cote d’Ivoire (before the war), Botswana, South African, Namibia et al … We would begin to believe that we can do it with the right mindset, good attitude and hard work.
Instead of processing the substance of the write-up, you are behaving like English teachers, marking grammar! Which of you would claim a command over the English Language? Grow up and be tolerant to diverse views!!!
