  The security services pay alligence to the government of the day no matter how, who the president is. Mr suraju came again don't do cheap propaganda for people who don't will and never think of you when they come to Ghana.

  Suraju, Rear Admiral Matthew Quarshie (Naval Officer) is NOT the Chief of Army Staff; rather he is the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS). Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) is the equivalent of what they call in the USA - Joint Chiefs Of Staff. If you don't know the differences in these type of positions, then you should be checking your facts before you post them for public consumption - it will take you seconds to find out had you checked.

  THIS IS A STUPID ARTICLE THE WRITER COULD NOT EVEN MENTION WHAT THE CDS OF THE ARMY SAY TO WARRENT HIS ALLEGATION. THE NPP IS ALREADY AWARE THAT THE NDC IS A WINNER IN THIS CASE

  If there is any one prez who is cleverly using the Police and the Army but pretending that he has Ghanaians at heart is the current Prez.
  Since assuming the reigns of government, he has managed to do the following;
  1. Able to come up with a special force within the Army. Nobody knows exactly what they have been trained for.
  2. Has managed to suppress peaceful demonstrations by Ghanaians.
  3. Both the military and the Police heads are all Northerners. Other key and vital institutions are all headed by people of Northern decent. I am sure, it’s a calculated attempts to unleash mayhem in Ghana, at the least disturbances in the country.
  2. Has allowed the Police to organize what they call " show of Power" by displaying the nations armory in the glare of the people. This exercise is uncalled for.
  Nobody should forget that, all forces put together cannot add up to one third of the masses. Remember Tunisia, Egypt and the rest have superior military strength but when the people thought their rights were being trampled upon, the military power became as weakling as anything.
  The Prez is rather provoking Ghanaians and is stretching them to their limit. Nobody is ready to go to war, but the actions of the Prez are given a wrong signal for preparation for war in Ghana.
  The various military exercises going on have no merit. I do not think the opposition has any plan of declaring war. If they would, they would not have gone to the Supreme Court.
  Please, let sleeping dogs lie.
  Please, Mr.Prez. leave Ghanaians alone. Millions of Ghanaians have no jobs. If you cannot provide them jobs, please do not beat war drums. Ghanainas are tied of our politicians who do not do much but want the whole world to "declare them heros".

Are you aware the Ghana Armed Forces has the President as the Commander-in-Chief? So you expect the CDS to be loyal to the opposition leader or what? Are not you serious at all!
