It goes to prove the end result which has given the the President the impetus to believe he won fairly without any of the petitioners claim in the SC.
As it stands right now, it also affirms the Largest opposition NPP's corruption, thievery and crude mannerism as their modus operandi.

Kwadwo Cristo, it is very sad that you only see when the inaction of the judges is prompted by the petitioners council. From the word go, it is an open secret that judge Atuguba has been a bias against the petitioners and so are some of the other members of the Supreme Court. Excuse me to say that only a fool will not have seen that he Atuguba is an extension of the respondents legal team. This is the reason which infuriates Council Addison to behave the way he did. He could see that, he is only one person at one side, against Judge Atuguba, all the three recognized Councils of the respondents, as well as some of the judges on the other side. Under normal conditions and, what do you expect him to do when from the beginning of the trial, all the aforementioned respondents councils as well as some of the judges are openly bias and are doing everything in their power to maintain the ill- elected president as the president of Ghana? The good part of all this drama is that, they are doing this in the full glare of the world. If the wrong verdict is finally given, the world will see how corrupt the Ghanaian legal system is and declare Mahama and his crew illegitimate.

Kwadwo,
These are very interesting observations, but the die was cast right at the onset of this case. Judge Atuguba should not have been on the panel in the first place, judging from the fact that his nephew who had earlier accused the whole judiciary system of being corrupt, is the Secretary to caretaker President Mahama.
His English and mode of intervention have been atrocious. Then he allowed the criminal Tsatsu to continually refer to Dr Bawumia as "dishonest" for no just reason. He told Addison in open court to "shut up" and later accused the Petitioners of criminality. The court overlooked all that until Addison's sarcastic comment of "That is very rich coming from you!" to Tsatsu. And what did Atuguba do? "The mudsligning is now even." I am sure that if someone did any of that at the Swedru magistrate court back in the 1960s, he would have been charged for "Contempt of Court." But to overlook all that in the Supreme Court? Really amazing!
Every idiot who has access to radio/television in Ghana is commenting on this case (which is supposed to be sub judice), and making their own judgement. Even the President has openly pronounced the outcome of the case.
In short, Atuguba lost the plot right from the word go. If this case ends up in conflaguration in Ghana, there will be just two people to blame, Judge Atuguba and the rogue Afari-Djan.
That is why I still cry for my beloved country!

This trial from behind the scene?
You are right in saying that everybody is commenting on the case, including lwayers, because own nation is now being guided by the views of high-scholl drop-outs lie Kweku Baako, who has been allowed to turn his 'jaundiced' views on matters into facts and law!
If you think Raymond Atuguba`s appointment as the President`s secretary should be grounds for the his unlce to recluse himself from this panel, what about Baffoe Bonnie who was Owusu Afriyie`s roomate at Legon? I hope you saw who he nearly got himself entangled in the 'pink sheets-in-evidence' when he indicated he had a 'soft copy' of the petitioner`s exhibit in front of him,but then had to 'chicken out' when Tsikata enquired whether he had somthing different from what the respondents had been supplied with!
and once again, did Owusu Afriyie not wave the white handkerchief, this time in open court, to signify victory for their side even before the president`s statement to his party faithfuls a few days ago?
My problem with Js Atuguba is that he has not been tough enough from the get go,and we are seeing the result of this carefree attitude being shown in the pertulence Addison has demonstrated in court, even torwards Justices who are sympathetic to their case!

I have often watched the proceeedings with disgust over how lawyers from both sides belittle the profession with inpunity.
Very often circumstances which would have attracted severe intervention by the bench were brushed aside to augment into seriousness, consequentially tarnishing and making mockery of the entire adjudication.
Much is attributed to lack of sterness and directive from the bench. It was hard to understand the inpunity enjoyed by Tony Lithur when he threw a document even as he regretted and sincerely expressed to the courts his apology. Tsatsu's unending sporadic interruptions and rebuke of the bench were met with stultifying silence from the panel. Addison, having observed the trend, joined the growing format. Quarshie Idun, is the only lawyer among the four leading advocates who has so far exhibited maturity and respect for the bench.
