Amin lamptey should give us break. He is behaving like an educated illiterate. The contest inwhich owusu bempah was using 'negotiating with terrorists' is not what amin lamptey is trying to let us believe. It has nothing to do with religion but setting bad precedence for the national team. Not even leonel messi would send such a request to the Argentina Football Federation of being guaranteed automatic place in the national team.
Amin should rather be ashamed for playing politics with bempah's comment. What is wrong with somebody expressing his opinion about an action of the president as unnecessary? Is the president not a human being who is fallible?
Amin is rather doing work for his pay masters.

It is so clear Amin Mohammed, your article is cheap, and it is a means of seeking favours from both the President and the Ayews. People like you bring shame upon journalism with your stomach articles.
Have you being listening to yourself? If the GFA president and his people are saying they've not failed in their attempt to bring the boys back, then what was the president's motive in trying to intervene?
Have these so-called problems that these boys are saying they have with the FA and their management vanished with the President coming in? Has Jordan been guaranteed a regular playing time by the president?
Now quoting Amin Lamptey "I do not think you were in your sound mind before you granted this interview or you intentionally voiced out those flammable statements just to satisfy your age long hatred against the Ayews".
Amin Lamptey, were you in your sound mind when you were writing this rubbish? How could you go round and in your warp mind equate Owusu Bempah's use of terrorists to Islam? Aren't you rather showing your political leanings with your statement: "You may have your political party alright but it is unfair to use such a platform and issue in question to unjustifiable attacked the president...."
Shame! Ghanaians can see in between the lines and Allah is watching you.

I think we all not getting the point Bempah is making due to the individual differences. However, let's be careful in what we write and try to digest what both Bempah and Mohammed are saying. Even though writers use titles to attract the attention of people, I will ask Bempah to be careful with his title choice because it makes Mohammed and the likes worry about the title that the content. I don't know how y'all understand what Bempah said, but to me, he wanted to point it out to the President and the people of Ghana that, Asamoah Gyan faced a lot of attacks from Ghanaians for missing a mere penalty but no one stood out for him. Gyan's decision to leave the Black Stars was not a grudge he held against a member of the team, technical bench or the GFA but against the people of Ghana as a whole. Bempah was not trying to be tribalistic or anything of that sort.
Ayews, on the other hand, quit the team because they have a beef with the management and if the government is gonna call only one party instead of the two parties involved in this situation, then its not right. At least he should have set up a committee to investigate into the matter and find a solution to it. Now they have agreed to come back to the team, is the President going to hand them over to the management or he is giving them a different management? This makes the talks very unnecessary because the problem is still unsolved. The misunderstanding will still continue until both parties have accepted each other.
The way Mohammed is trying to counter Bempah is little bit intense. I can't say its not good because each and everyone is entitled to their opinions. Mohammed is talking about three things in his article which I think he should be careful how he writes because it can cause a serious problem in Ghana and jeopardize Ghanaian Football. He thinks Bempah's writing was focusing on Politics, Religion and Tribalism. This article, talks about the three things. Bempah did not make any political, tribal or religious remarks. He said "Gyan’s situation was worse. He has suffered abuse than any current player of the team. When he decided to quit, did we see any president making attempts to talk to him? Why is he not a Ghanaian? or because his surname is not Ayew?" This is not a tribal remark. You just stated in your article that the President has a special relationship with the Ayews so I don't think you should respond in this way. What do you think will happen if the President asks the Management to accept them instead of letting them apologise to the GFA and Ghanaians? This kinda talks call for more indiscipline actions in the team which I believe will cause the team to deteriorate in no time. Every player feels special for being part of the team and if the president uses his relationship powers to talk to some, then we gonna have big problems. They make me think they don't have the passion for playing for Ghana but they play because of someone. Look at a player like Baba Adamu Amando, he had a big problem with some of the Management members, yet he was always willing to play and die for his country. You can comment, argue or compose your own article but please make sure you eliminate the idea of Politics, Religion and Tribalism because we all Ghanaians and we love the game Soccer. For what the President, leaders of polital parties, Media (including Sports Analysts) and all people of Ghana do in their polical life, no one wanna know it. So, stop digging out Bempah for his political life.
God Bless Ghanaian Football!

We need all the right resources to develop this country so if the president thought it prudent to talk to the Ayew brothers to return to the national team, it is not wrong at all.
Owusu Bempah is not better in no way to decide for the country. He should groom his own football team and ahndle it the way he wants. The national team belongs to all of us. The president is an executive ppresident and he is right to take the action he has taken.
There are some in this country who think they more than everybody and should be the ones to decide what is good for the country.
